If Life Ends

When life ends on earth will there still be birth? 
If life ends here will I be close to you dear?
If life ends in the house, will I be your cuddly mouse? 
If life ends within me, will you still be able to see? 
If life ends around us, will I still be yours to trust? 
If life ends, who knows what? 
Will I be your buttercup?
