Love is how you stay alive even after your gone

The years have passed but the pain has not....

Funeral services where held for each and every person from the fire department that died on 9-11. Firefighters from all
over the world came out and lined the streets of new york to say goodbye to these fallen heros. I remember on the day of
the dad's funeral we were walking behind the fire truck and two of my dads best friends and fellow fire fighters were
standing right next to me and my mom and i remember looking around and there were so many people who had come out to
remember my dad. I will never forget that moment.

The resovle of this great nation is being tested. Make no mistake we will show the world that we will pass this test.

There are days when i just sit here and wonder "why?"
Why did people do this to innocent citizens?
Why my dad went back into the tower?

But at the end of the day i know the answer to atleast one of those questions.

My dad loved his job and he loved the guys he worked with. They were like family to us. My dad would never turn down the
oppurtunity to save even just one more life. And thats what he did he went back in trying to save even just one more
life. My dad died doing what he loved and that gives me some peace of mind. Nothing will ever bring my dad back not a
million tears . i know cause i have cryed, not a million i love him and need him, i know cause i have said it countless
times. But my life on earth i now dedicate to fight the battle to keep these hero's remembered! My dad was just one of
the hundreds of heros to pass that day. I believe that god gave my father the peace to say hunny im not going to make
it but its okay im ready to go.

There is a scene in this video where you can see my dad and two other fire fighters from his station.

50 years could pass and the pain of the day will still be with me. But through my story of loss im trying to help
remember these men and woman like they deserve to be remembered. They gave their lives to help others its the least we
can do.

Please take a moment to watch these two videos. Thank you

When you would ask a fire fighter " are you going back in " the answer would always be simple. " its our job we have
fellow firemen in there and innocent lives "

Rest In Peace Dad I love you so much

That is beautifully done. We should stop life for at least a minute to remember
these people.

You're father sounds like he was a great man. Him and all those people who died cause
they believed that every life counts. They all are heroes, even if their not known by

I'm sure he's smiling from heaven on you right now and saying "I love you too."
