Hm... Wow. I agree. Why should black people, or people of first nation descent get
special treatment. The way their people were treated is long since over, and still
they get extra! How come its like that!? Yah, at first, they had every right to be
treated better, but now its too long after the time when they were treated like
aliens. Thanks for writing this. I hope you don't mind if i copy it and put it out in
my diaries.

@Queenlover44 - I'm not condoning what he did... but you can't deny that he was an
EPIC GENIUS.  Twisted, for sure, but still... imagine if he had used his brain power
for good.

I'm not bringing you down, I'm just saying that most of you are quite full of it.

I'm pretty sure the the gay pride parade is meant to make up for all the gay guys
who get raped by straight guys who are trying to "make a point" and all the people
who kick them out of shops, and beat them up in alleys, and say they aren't allowed
to visit their dying lovers in hospitals, ect ect.

Since gays don't do that stuff the straights on the basis that they are straight,
straights don't get a parade. Or that's what I think the logic is.

I kind of think black history is the white mans way of saying sorry for enslaving
them. :]

Kirti- Fair point.  I didn't mean parade, really, it just would have sounded dumb to
say, "Where's my right to shout in your face about equal rights and you-try-being-me
and la lala lala..."

Nikki- But that was then.  This is now.  The Irish (white) were enslaved by the
British.  The Hebrews (not white, but not black either) were enslaved by the
Egyptians.  Do they have a history month?  Dude, I don't even think there's a
'history month' for the Holocaust.  Now come on!  Slavery... the Holocaust.

was the blacks who sold the other blacks out, the whites didn't even go into the
country, I'm not saying it was right! Hell no! It was completely wrong, but slavery
wasn't just the evil whites, they were all sold TO the whites by other black people
who wanted to get rich. As well as that blacks had been stealing whites for slaves
for centuries before the big African slave trade, and do they get anything? No. 

It's hypocritical. :/ I don't mind them celebrating & whatever, I mean it's digusting
what happened to them & it really shouldn't have happened, but it's over. Can't we
just leave it in the History classroom where is belongs?

student, we don't learn 'white history', we learn about the different centuries of
History, if that mainly white people then it's mainly white, we can't just go &
change British history (I live in Britain & we're currently doing the 1800's) to
include more Black people? Obviously, there are parts of history where the majority
of people are black, for goodness sake grow up, it's like learning about Afirca's
history & complaining about there being no white people in it. @_@

against, you may think they're equal & whatever, but someone people still don't like
them. :/ I know there are still racist people, but there are A LOT of people who
dislike gays & they're still having to fight for their equal rights in some places.
