Kaykay, this is the truth...

  I am more likely to contract the regular influenza virus than I am to contract swine flu. according to my doctor.

  Millions of people have the regular winter flu every year.  Hundreds of thousands die from it.  The only difference
between swine flue and regular influenza is that there is no vaccination for the former.  I have never been vaccinated
against the flu in my entire life.  I've only had it  about four times in fourteen years and I am still alive!
  According to my teacher, we've probably already had the H1N1 virus at some point in our lives and passed it off as
any old bug.  It is true that swine flu is nearly a pandemic, but the flu, the common cold, even chickenpox... these,
too, are pandemics!!!  Does anyone worry about them?  NO!

  Don't worry.  Cancelling field trips because of swine flu is like cancelling trips because of regular flu! That's so
stupid... just wash your hands and take Advil at the first sign of a bug, and you'll be fine.

  Remember the pig whup-dee-doo about avian flu?  Yeah, this is gonna be exactly like that one!  Nothing happened.  We
are far, far past the days of the Spanish Influenza Pandemic.  We will be fine.

   However, it is my opinion that Mexico, along with the surrounding states, should be quarrantined.  Just my opinion,
though.  I'm not all too worried, although three people have already died in my area, which is in Canada, by the way.
