Tell me princess, when did you last let your heart decide?
"You know that place between sleep and awake? The place where you can still remember dreaming? That's where I'll always love you. That's where I'll be waiting." -Peter Pan
I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times… In life after life, in age after age, forever. My spellbound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs, That you take as a gift, wear round your neck in your many forms, In life after life, in age after age, forever. Whenever I hear old chronicles of love, it’s age old pain, It’s ancient tale of being apart or together. As I stare on and on into the past, in the end you emerge, Clad in the light of a pole-star, piercing the darkness of time. You become an image of what is remembered forever. You and I have floated here on the stream that brings from the fount. At the heart of time, love of one for another. We have played along side millions of lovers, Shared in the same shy sweetness of meeting, the distressful tears of farewell, Old love but in shapes that renew and renew forever. Today it is heaped at your feet, it has found its end in you The love of all man’s days both past and forever: Universal joy, universal sorrow, universal life. The memories of all loves merging with this one love of ours - And the songs of every poet past and forever. -Rabindranath Tagore With a dreamy far-off look And her nose stuck in a book

I have no idea
Last year it got mailed to my house, but I was away and that could have been
because my parents forgot to pick it up.
If you drive past the school, though, the sign might say something.
Sorry 'bout that.

LOL I know... I tend to be an arguer, as you know.

okay...about your suicide talk thingy...well, I know someone who took their
life. and it's not just finding an easy way out. He hung on for years and years
on end because he loved his kids. People say depression is like an illness in
your brain, and it can get worse. I can understand what you said about the
squeaky weel thing, but even though you may have gone through the same
experiences, they are probably more sensitive of emotional, or were more
insecure than you were to begin with. Like you said, you soldier all the pain
and don't ask for help...well you don't need help. I understand the no attention
thing, but those people who are weaker than you don't ask for the attention. and
they need it to get by. Suicide and depression aren't simple matters whatsoever.
I don't pretend to understand it, but some people are really self concious and
there's nothing anyone can do about it. I haven't gone through a lot, not bad at
all. Some would love to have the life I have. But I am extremely sensitive and I
care about practically everything; I can't help it. I have strong emotions and I
can't pretend that sadness isn't happening in the world. So that makes me
depressed: that other people are discriminated against. I understand your point,
but I can't agree.
people like me who are super sensitive and care about everything and go through
really tough times are probably the ones who end up committing suicide. It's not
like a lifestyle that you can chose to have. It's like Jacob in the Twilight
series: it's just a part of him and who he is, being a werewolf. He can't help
it, and I doubt these people can either. I'm sorry I brought the subject up
again, but I can't just let it go. Knowing someone who actually did this, gives
you a whole different outlook. It was just this year, too. Alright, it was my
best friends dad. I've seen the effect it's had on her...but she's a strong
person, unlike me. Do you get what I'm saying? I'm sorry I couldn't resist to
comment...actually knowing someone...it's a lot different than hearing about it.

I understand you point, and I'm sorry for your loss. I've known people who
have committed suicide, too.
I do believe that one's view on this subject depends on how they were raised.
For example, Japanese people are raised to believe that if they bring shame to
themselves and their families, they are better of to kill themselves. I,
however, have been raised with the belief that I, along with all people, was
born to make a difference and that killing myself would not only be a waste but
cowardly. I am like you - I am sensitive to discrimination and other people's
suffering, but due to the way I was raised it has only made me stronger. The
suffering of others does not depress me so much as motivate me to continue on
and make their world better.
In my opinion, that's what we should all do- struggle on, as hard as it is, so
that we can make a difference for ourselves and others. In my humble opinion,
to do anything other than that is cowardly.
