Let's see... when it comes to icons, I've been practicing for a few years now, so it
takes lotsa work. :O I use tutorials and tips from lots of the best icon makers on
Livejournal. :3 I hope to make icons like them one day. ^-^

For programs, Photoshop works best. My favorite tool is -- surprise! -- dodge. XD I
use that and textures and custom brushes to make the sparkly effects and swirls.
Also, use very tiny text! :O It looks pretty for some reason~ *-*

Wow, pixel art! I've been wanting to get into pixel art but I really don't know
where to start. Do you draw sketchies on a different layer first then tidy it up, or
minimalize an existing picture? Or just start from scratch? What's your pixel style?

Well, I made these a long time ago and I still make some sometimes, but when I
started, I thought there was only one way -- starting from scratch. XD

Just going on MS Paint, zooming in, and drawing tiny little things. :3 That's just
what I did. ^-^ Zoom in, use the pixels to draw a tiny ice cream cone, and just color
it in, adding really simple shading and a bit of highlights. =^_^=

So yes -- just from scratch with me. X3 I've seen some people who sketch then make a
pixel, but that may take longer. I tried that too, and it works very well. ^^
However, starting from scratch it easier for me. :3
