No longer do we see

no longer do we see by ~colourfulcatastrophe Do you remember that time when the backyard used to be a tropical rainforest, filled with exotic creatures and adventures? Or how about when it was a secret cave filled with hidden treasures and dangerous fire breathing dragons lurked in the corners? What about the time when we were great explorers from a far away land searching for mystical herbs and long forgotten races? Our backyard was our own universe, twisted by our young imaginations into whatever we pleased. The scrapes on our knees, the battle wounds sustained from our victorious fights against evil. My trusty spoon sword and colander helmet and your magic wand and fairy wings, together we could defeat any foe. Back when we were children and our minds were fresh and innocence untainted. I remember those days; I bet you do to little sister. Though I must admit I have forgotten where they have gone. The past was yesterday and the present is today. No longer are we so care free. Time no longer lets us see what we would have seen ten years ago. Deviant account: umm yeah just some poetry i was attempting, im feelin a lil sentimental XD, this is very rough so i may work on it a bit. tell me what you think
