She keeps making rumours about you and I'm totally against it and now she's saying I'm a
pervy slut because I like cybering with you and sending you pics of me, none of which I
do. I don't want to lose her as a friend but she just avoids me like a bad smell now and
I don't know what to do

First of all, nice to meet you Lola. Sorry it couldnt be in better circumstances. I am so
sorry that something this stupid has come between you and your friend. I respect and
appreciate how youre willing to stand up for me, a stranger, when you see your friend
doing wrong things.

It is really sad that she would go further and make up things about you. That has made it
no longer about me but something that she is personally doing to you and that is something
only you can work out with her and ultimately forgive her for if she apologizes for
hurting you.

As for me, you arent the only person that has been in the middle so to speak having some
friends who are among those creating these lies and doing the hating and also being
friends with me. Most have told their friends that they want to remain neutral and out of
it but whether that will be good enough for your friend only she can decide. Of course,
from my perspective, I appreciate it more when a "friend" of mine does have the courage
to speak up to their other friend, especially when its clear that whatever they are doing
is wrong. So again i really appreciate that.

I think in the long run, what I would advise is to not fight with your friend about me
and avoid that entirely if you can. In time your friend will probably want to be friends
again with you but again, she will have her own apologies to make to you for spreading
lies about you directly.
