Hey, I'm Ash. I've made a million accounts on this website before,
but this time I just need to relax a little, and people are usually
pretty easy to talk to here. I'll try to be quick.

I'm 16 years old, and my birthday is July 23rd (for all of you Zodiac
lovers, that means I'm a Cancer-Leo cusp). I'm a junior in high
school, and I don't have any official job because of after school

I'm non-binary, which means I fit outside of the gender binary.
Basically, I'm not really a boy or a girl. Kupika forces you to choose
one or the other, and that's why my profile says female. Please don't
pay it any mind. I go by "they/them" pronouns.

Things I like: Dangan Ronpa, anime, kawaii culture, Nintendo games,
Vocaloid, Marina and the Diamonds. Feel free to talk to me even if you
don't like any of these things, though!

"requiring a profile for an anonymous penpal website is ridiculous."

Yeaaah it does exist? I'm not ignoring it, just think it's dumb

They do change but... there are words that shouldn't change
I don't think that linguistics isn't the issue either...
Guys can have gracious movements
Girls can be strong-willed and aggressive
I feel like it's dumb because you're changing the concept of yourself to follow
a dumb stereotype that shouldn't exist in the first place

i'm...... not though?????? i'm literally the most feminine person ever and
non-binary people can be femme or masculine or whatever. being trans isn't about
what you wear or how you look, it's about how you feel about your gender. (and
tbh the "stereotypical" sort of androgyny is pretty masculine so like i'm
breaking it)

being able to recognize, realize, and say that i'm non-binary is literally
breaking down all sort of gender roles and constructs (and YES, stereotypes) by
realizing that we don't FEEL like a boy or a girl. it has nothing to do with "oh
i'm not ladylike so obviously i'm not female." it has to do with how i view
myself (what name/pronouns do i feel comfortable with?), how i view my body (do
i feel uncomfortable with my boobs/hips/etc. and feel like they shouldn't be
there?), and who i want to be.

i can tell that you don't mean to offend, but you did. you seem like you're
well-intentioned but i know who i am and it's not for you to decide. you aren't
educated on this topic, so go read up.

I think the whole gender issue is stupid
Are you biologically male or female? then pick one

I feel like you just don't want to fit into the stereotypes.. and that's great
But genders should just refer to if you have ovaries or testicles
It's us, the people, who have given gender meanings they don't have

What do you think of that?

the trans community exists i'm sorry

meanings and connotations of words change, and we literally made up every word
in existence, so....
