teacher said I was an excellent writer, so she entered a past story of mine into a teaching magazine which will come

May's babysitting service

14 year old May Tripindorf sipped her coffee while holding up a newspaper in her face.Then, as the coffee ran down her
throat,she started to gag and her eyes watered.She coughed,once,twice,three times."Woo,that's some strong coffee."she
told herself.Then her mother,Jariea,walked down the carpeted stairs tieing her robe and adjusting the towel on her
head.Her bunny slippers where moist with drips of water from the towel on her head.She stopped on the laststep and gave
May a puzzling look."I didn't know you drank coffee."she announced." I didn't either." May laughed."So what are you
doing?" Her mother asked curiously. "I'm looking for a summer job." May stated without even loking at her mother.
"Oh,well, you can bag items at that store down the road."her mother suggested.
" Please mother not with these looks."May told her mother like it was an obvious fact.But it was an obvious fact.May
had silky chesnut hair that extended to her middle back.Her eyes were a deep blue and her skin was as tan as wood.She
had no freckels but she had a complimentary beauty mark on her right cheek. She was a very tall slender young woman
with white teeth. Her mom nodded and gave her a look that said "You are beautiful but dont brag." "Well, how about
babysitting for the Turners,they have a little 11 year old girl,a 4 year old boy named Zachary and a 10 month old baby
named Clarissa. C'mon, wouldn't that be fun?" asked her mother.
