I was at war with those who I felt didn't understand me. I pushed
them away. If they attempted to talk to me, I didn't reply. I never
gave anyone a chance to become close to me. And I maybe even ridiculed
them. I was sarcastic, cold.

Beautiful imagery. My dad has been out in the Iraq and the Afghan
war, so this has a strong meaning for me.

Though the experiences of war we have had may be different from one
another, the meaning is wonderful and universal.
