Well, she /was/ twelve, to her credit!

And she was the most balanced out of the three (perfectly grasped
chakra control immediately, whereas Sasuke and Naruto had to work at
it for quite a while!). But yes, it certainly was a treat to see her
truely blossom in the second series. x3
