how to draw
Oekaki
This Oekaki is dedicated to my deceased grandmother, forever remembered in our
hearts. Grandmama died peacefully, and she left behind for us a beautiful
peach-colored flower amongst her ashes. Grandmama is in heaven now, and my mother
says that means we don't need to pray for her. She is happy already. She visited my
mother a few weeks ago, smiling and waving in a white cheong sam. When i first went
to pray during her death anniversary, I looked up at the moon, and sniffed, wiping a
tear away.

Where ever Grandmama is, she'll always love us, and I'll always love her.

Awww... That's so sad... Your granny will be safe in Heaven, I'm
sure. And nice drawing!

Thank you all very much for your sympathetic comments on my Oekaki.
And yes, I'm quite sure Grandmama is happy in heaven now.

I hope she's in heaven too. Just wondering, Minqi-what's your
religion? Are you Buddhist? Christian? Jewish? Anything else I can
think of?

Buddhist, actually. But the only much lot of praying I do is with
this little gold piece in plastic.
