The girl looks slightly stiff, but the colors are amazing.

critique: 
her shoulders should be a bit lower, between where her neck ends and
the 1st shadow on her jacket is. her left arm is just a bit too thick
compared to her other one, and even though Lapras' shell is curved,
her right leg shouldnt be that straight, it would look more like this
> if it was just hanging there. since they're on the ocean and its
really sunny, there should be brighter highlights and darker shadows
than usual.

First I would like to start off with the shading, I think it is closer
to perfect than alot of people could do. I like the expression and how
you added your style to it to make it more personal. The pokemon are
amazing, I love Mew's pose, it's amazing. :D 
Maybe the reason why your sister said it was wierd is because of how
the shoulder looks unrelaxed, but I can see how it would work though.
Never the less, This is yet another masterpiece by the lovely Yuyu.
