First of all let me say this I enjoyed Twilight myself but I definitely believe that there are flaws in the plot. I
recently decided to read it to see what the big whoop was about.(I was being rebellious at first)
My opinions on the book(the first book only!!)
I feel that Twilight is a very romantic and sweet book. Edward reminds me of the kind of guy we might all want to have a
relationship with at one point in a woman's life. ((Is this the hormones talking!!??))
Bella is a klutz and ordinary person like the rest of us girls and she pulls the best looking guy in the school. Now
tell me that does not just give you hope.
Bella isnt a selfish person while she thinks of her father and how things may affect him.
The vocabulary of the book is outstandingly beautiful.
Each book of the series((although I have pointed out I have not read all of them)) is exceptionally thick and will put
you on a hearty book diet if you read Twilight and become hooked.
The plot is much better than a love story about two ordinary teenagers.((You would most likely skip that book))
The book is a nice way to escape into an ultimate universe where a girl moves to a foreign place ((to her)) and gains
friends and admirers so quickly. ((Sweet dude!!))
The characters are well developed and each play a part in the book and does not go unnoticed like a chess game.
The book offers something for everyone forbidden lust, action and an incredible hook in the beginning (A.K.A the
Bella's kinda tough, she accepted when she had to leave because of James and she was ready to fight the guys in the
&& who can forget the most important pro....
It's getting many kids to read!!! Maybe if we can keep this up we may be able to bring teen pregnancy to a minimum.
The Cons((Sorry..Gotta be fair...))
Edward sparkles in the sunlight but not under the big stupid industrial school lights??? ( Though that is pretty
creative you must admit))
Many females are beginning to expect an Edward in their boyfriends which is unfair for those guys out there who are
I believe it is unrealistic how quickly Bella makes friends((not to sounds like a hater but c'mon))
I believe that Bella and Edward fell in love much too quickly, in the real world it is much harder to fall in love so
quickly...((it could happen but let's think realisticly please.)) This became a problem to me when my friend((I'm not
going to embarass her by putting her name)) said "But I want a love like Bella and Edward's after a month of their
Carlisle was hiding in sewers in the 1700's in London..I dont even think there were sewers yet((I may be wrong!!))
I think the book focuses on Edward's eyes a bit too much..
Bella seems a bit dependent on Edward which some females may believe is the way to be as long as he's smokin' hot.
Edward constantly calls Bella absurd when in reality she does everything he tells her to.
Bella faints in the ballroom and the fight isnt written.
Bella's parents are dumb enough to believe that someone can fall down steps and through a god damned window!! c'mon
dude. just...c'mon man.
What hotel staircase has windows?? Who takes the staircase in a hotel when your likely to be put on the 22nd floor.
The parents did not ask why she was at a hotel as apposed to her mom's house.
Hotels let minors check in with straight cash?? Hotels let two teenaged girls and teenaged boy check into a hotel
without a bit of suspicion??
Edward watched her sleep and this didnt scare her...
It's okay if the guy you love sneaks into your bedroom and watches you sleep at night... that's completely normal and
romantic... not the the least bit creepy or stalkerish.
It's perfectly okay to have no goals or aspirations or even an education, just get yourself a man and he'll take care
&& Last But certaintly not least....
Now if your going to comment please keep in mind that I am not a Twilight hater. As i mentioned I read the book and
loved it and am looking forward to reading the next installment New Moon but I just wanted discuss the book.
Thank you buh bye now.
I found this Funny ^^
