powerful swords. Inuyasha's sword, Tessaiga, can kill 100 youkai with one swing. Sesshoumaru's sword, Tessaiga, can
bring life back to 100 people. InuYasha's Mother, a very beautiful, kind person, is also already deceased.
Personality: Hot-tempered and slightly tactless, Inuyasha has a hard time trusting anyone (half-demons have a hard time
trying to live with either species peacefully). He fell in love with a priestess named Kikyou, who guarded and purified
the Shikon no Tama [Jewel of Four Souls], an item that grants a demon great powers. Inuyasha had wanted to become human
in order to be with her, but Naraku tricked them into hating each other--another reason why Inuyasha has a hard time
trusting anyone. With Kagome's appearance in his life, Inuyasha is starting to learn love and trust again. Nonetheless,
Inuyasha has a great deal of conflict over whether he wants to be with Kikyou or Kagome because he loves both of them.
Skills: Inuyasha has several claw attacks. One is called Sankon Tessou [Soul-Shattering Iron Claws], and another is
Hijin Kessou [Flying Claws of Blood]. His sword, Tessaiga [Iron Fang] has its own special abilities; Kaze no Kizu
[Wound of the Wind], Bakuryuuha [Explosive Wave Technique], and Kekkaigiri [Barrier-Destroying]. He can also run fast

Kagome is a 15-year-old junior high student from present day Japan. She lives with he mother, younger brother, and
grandfather in a home on the estate of a very old temple. The temple's sacred tree is the same as the one to which
Inuyasha was sealed so many years ago. One morning as she was leaving for school, Kagome and her brother were searching
for the family cat, Buyo. She found Buyo inside the wellhouse, but a demon from medieval Japan burst in through the
Bone-Gobbling Well, grabbing Kagome and pulling her to medieval Japan. She fights off the demon, unknowingly using the
power of the Shikon no Tama [Jewel of Four Souls] hidden inside her body (what the demon was trying to get by attacking
her). After dispatching the demon, Kagome pops back out of the well, only to realize that she's not where she thought
she was. Thus begins her adventures with Inuyasha, whose seal she breaks. Over time, she falls in love with Inuyasha,
only to find heartache since he stills loves another.
Personality: Courageous and surprisingly smart, Kagome has a strong moral center, determination, and lots of tact.
Though she and Inuyasha seem to fight a lot, she is very protective of him and the other members of the Yasha gang. She
knows her feelings well, and does not try to hide them from herself.
Skills: Just as Kikyou had much skill with a bow, Kagome can shoot Hamaya [Purity Arrows], which damage even the
powerful bad guys in the show, like Naraku. She also eventually can even use her bow to ward off demons.
Kikyou

Fifty years ago, the townspeople of Sango's village were the first to find the Shikon no Tama [Jewel of Four Souls] and
gave it to Kikyou to safeguard and purify. InuYashacame to stealit, but though Kikyou could have killed him, she decided
not to out of mercy. It intrigued Inuyasha, and he began to follow her everywhere. He and Kikyou subsequently interacted
a lot, and they fell in love. Naraku, using his powers to disguise himself as Inuyasha, met with Kikyou one morning
after she told Inuyasha that she'd use the Shikon to turn him human. Naraku slashed at her, mortally wounding her, and
successfully tricked her into thinking that Inuyasha had come to kill her and take the Shikon. Inuyasha was also
tricked into thinking that Kikyou had betrayed him when Naraku took her form and shot at him. Naraku put the Shikon
back in Kikyou's temple, and the real Inuyasha went after the jewel as revenge. As he was escaping with the jewel, the
real Kikyou used the last of her strength to seal Inuyasha to a tree. She died moments later. Now, having been
resurrected, she is living a half-life since her body cannot have the soul that's already been reincarnated in Kagome.
Her body is supported by the souls of the dead, brought to her by Shinidama Chuu [Soul-Snatchers].
Personality: Kikyou seems very sad and regretful. Her "resurrected" personality is actually different from the
personality she had when she was alive. Her new personality is much more bitter, and she is easily angered.
Skills: Kikyou has wonderful skill with a bow, and shoots very powerful Hamaya [Purity Arrows]. Her holy powers give
her a lot of resistance to Naraku's spells, and she can always defeat many Illusion or Control spells. The Shinidama
Chuu are the demons that she controls.
Miroku

Miroku is a lecherous monk. He asks every pretty woman he meets if she'll bear his child. Though this sounds quite
ridiculous, Miroku has a good reason to ask. He, his grandfather, and his father were cursed by Naraku with what is
called a kazaana [Wind Tunnel]. It's basically a black hole in the palm of his right hand, and he must use a monk's
seal to keep it from sucking in everything around him. The bad part of this curse is that the Wind Tunnel will
eventually suck him in as well, just as it did to his father and grandfather. Thus, Miroku has to continue his family's
line so that if he fails to kill Naraku, thus lifting the curse, his son will have to take on the job. He meets up with
Kagome and InuYasha early on in the series. Finding that he and Inuyasha have the same purpose (finding the Shikon
shards and killing Naraku), he helps as best he can whenever they fight Naraku's evil forces.
Personality: Miroku seems superfluous and flaky, but he constantly worries about the curse in his hand, and feels that
time is running out. He has a good sense of humor, cares for the others in the Yasha gang, and makes great sacrifices
if he feels it will help them.
Skills: Though his Wind Tunnel is his most powerful weapon, he sometimes cannot use it due to Naraku's
Samiyoushou[Hell's Insects], which sometimes pop up to willingly get sucked into the Wind Tunnel, stinging Miroku as
they enter. However, he also has some significant holy powers, which he can use to protect the others by making a
invisible shell over them, and jis shakujou [monk's staff] is a pretty good holy weapon.
Sango
Occupation: youkai taijiya

Sango, her brother Kohaku, and their father (the village leader), all lived in a village of demon exterminators. It was
their trade, and they were good at their jobs. However, the first night that Kohaku went to fight demons with his older
sister, father, and other exterminators, they ran into Naraku. Naraku used a spider demon to control Kohaku, and made
him kill his and Sango's father and the other exterminators. He almost killed Sango, and ended up dying when the people
who hired them shot Kohaku after his crazed attack of his family and friends. They also shot Sango full of arrows,
thinking that she had gone insane as well. That night, everyone in her village was killed by a huge swarm of demons,
all controlled by Naraku. Obviously, poor Sango was mentally scarred for life. Though she thought Kohaku had died,
Naraku used a Shikon shard to keep her brother alive in order to use him not only as a mindless drone, but also as a
means to manipulate the Yasha gang since Kohaku is important to one of its members.
Personality: Sango really loves her brother, and hates to see him being used. However, the only thing keeping him alive
is a Shikon shard in his back. She is trying desperately to get her brother back, not the lifeless shell that Naraku has
made--the real Kohaku doesn't want to remember what he did (though he was forced) that awful night. She is a brave,
kind, loving person.
Skills: Sango has a great weapon, her Hiraikotsu [Flying Bone], a huge boomerang. She uses it to slice the enemy,
whether it's one big demons or a bunch of them together, and to block attacks. She can also use a small katana very
well, and there is a hidden pop-up dagger on her right wrist.
Shippou

Shippou is very young and so does not have the power of some other demons. His father, who was killed for his pelt bu
Hiten and Manten, was the last person that Shippou had as family. Thus, he tags along with the Yasha gang after Kagome
and InuYasha avenged his father's death. Though he and Inuyasha do not get along at all, Shippou wants Kagome to be
happy, and tries to encourage Inuyasha's feelings for Kagome.
Personality: Also hot-tempered, but with the innocent mind of a child, Shippou likes to help out whenever possible
(since his fighting abilities aren't too much help, being that he's so young). He's very observant of other people's
feelings, even if, like a kid, he blurts things out a bit too much.
Skills: He can become a floating pink balloon, leave a trail of Naki Kinoko [Weeping Mushrooms] in case someone needs
to follow him, and change his appearance (the transformations aren't always complete). His attacks include magical
illusions: Tsubushi Goma [Smashing Top], Bunshin [Divide], and Kitsune Bi [Fox Fire]. Some of his "ingredients"
include: ofuda [charm], ojizousan no moto [Element of Ojizou-san: an enlightened person who looks over children,
travelers, and the Underworld], ganguma [toy horse], ganguhebi [toy snake], goma [top], happa [leaf], kinoko
[mushrooms], and dosogeri [acorns].
Kirara

She is Sango's pet demon. When we first see her, she's actually pretty huge and scary-looking with a demon's head in
her mouth. Kirara has become a significant portion of the group's fighting squad.
Personality: This feline demon is very protective of Sango and her friends. She can't speak, but she's still smart
enough to completely understand what other people are saying. Note: In episode 26, we see a short scene near the end in
which Kirara is standing with Midoriko, the powerful miko who first "created" the Shikon no Tama, so Kirara must be
really old.
Skills: When in her big size, Kirara can fly, carrying perhaps three people on her back. She's also got huge,
saber-cat-like teeth and claws that are good for hand-to-hand fighting, but they're not too useful against very
powerful enemies
Myouga

Myouga is a tiny flea demon. (Yeah, I had the same reaction.) He hangs around because he's basically InuYasha's
retainer, the same way Jaken is Sesshoumaru's retainer, only Myouga is a lot more useful. He knows a lot of information
helpful to the Yasha gang, but he sometimes fibs about how much he knows. He has saved Inuyasha's life either directly
or indirectly a few times.
Personality: Myouga is a big coward. I would be, too, if I were simply a bug that anyone could squash. He often only
hangs around fight scenes if he's with someone not involved in the fight. Usually, he high-tails it away from danger.
He's a compulsive liar sometimes (not often), but the lies have had the potential to be very harmful.
Skills: The knowledge that he has obtained due to his old age, and after being around and biting many youkai and
humans, is an asset to the group, usually.
Naraku

Naraku is the result of the joining of hundreds of demons and a human. Onigumo, a thief who had been seriously burned
(the spider-shaped scar on Naraku's back is reminiscent of Onigumo), was being taken care of by Kikyou and Kaede. His
dirty love for Kikyou, formed in a twisted mind, allowed demons to consume his body, and give him the one he has now.
Naraku, still retaining some "feelings" for Kikyou since Onigumo still exists within his heart, is causing havoc for
many people. He was the one who tricked Kikyou and InuYasha into believing that one had betrayed the other. Naraku's
goal is to gather all the shards from the Shikon no Tama [Jewel of Four Souls] and become a full demon. When he first
appears to the Yasha gang after his initial confrontation with Inuyasha and Kikyou, he has taken the identity of a
wakatono [young lord] named Hitomi Kagewaki. The real lord either died from something natural, or was killed by
Naraku.
Personality: Naraku lets others do the dirty work for him. His detachments (demons born from his body) terrorize the
Yasha gang while Naraku stays behind the scenes. So far, his detachments include: #1-Kanna, #2-Kagura, #3-Goshinki,
#4/5-Kageromaru & Juuromaru, and the latest is #6-Hakudoushi. He tried to release the part of him that contained
Onigumo (renamed Muso), but little bits of Onigumo were still inside Naraku, and Naraku was forced to re-absorb Musou.
Skills: Naraku he can regenerate body parts, create weapons with his body, control demons, fly, generate detachments,
form miasmas (a noxious and corrosive atmosphere/fog), and hide his scent and demonic energy using his extremely
powerful barriers. The toxic energy his body releases if injured is called shouki, and he uses it to form the miasmas
(those who try to injure him or bite him have a nasty surprise). To "observe" things outside his castle and to protect
his cowardly @$$, Naraku uses kugutsu [puppets]. They're the monkey-suit/tentacle-monster things that the Yasha gang
sometimes fights.
Kouga
Occupation: Wolf Tribe Leader

Kouga is the leader of a tribe of wolf demons. He once kidnapped Kagome because she could see Shikon shards (useful for
him) and quickly fell in love with her, claiming her as his woman, which of course made InuYasha really mad and jealous.
Kouga knows who she really likes, but he's certainly tenacious, and pops up every once in a while if he can smell that
Kagome is near. He competes for her affection, hoping that Inuyasha will die soon so that Kagome can 'forget about him'
and be Kouga's woman! He also has two Shikon shards in his legs, which makes him a very fast runner, and has been in
lots of episodes.
Personality: Brave and confident, like Inuyasha, Kouga has a lot of brotherly love for his tribe (who were slaughtered
by Kagura in one episode--he doesn't like Kagura at all, of course). Kouga is blunt, but very honest.
Skills: Kouga can run--really fast--he could probably even beat Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha (it's the Shikon shards). He
has excellent senses, like a wolf, and fights very well. However, he doesn't have a cool weapon like Tessiga, and he
rarely, if ever, uses the sword that we sometimes see with him.
Kohaku

Only eleven-years-old, Kohaku is Sango's younger brother. Sango is the best taijiya [exterminator] in their village.
One night when Sango, their father, and other exterminators went out to do a job for a nearby mansion (killing a spider
demon), Kohaku was brought along for his first night as an exterminator. The spider demon had actually possessed the
mansion's lord, and though the exterminators did kill a humongous spider, they were caught off guard when the mansion
lord used a spider thread to possess Kohaku and make him kill all of his comrades and his father. Sango managed to live
through the ordeal with Kohaku and the mansion guards. Naraku, the guy behind it all, still controls Kohaku's mind
(since the poor kid doesn't want to remember what he was forced to do that night). Most recently in the show, Kohaku
has finally remembered his actions that night all on his own...but Naraku doesn't know that, and Kohaku is still in his
circle. ...Excellent...
Personality: From what we see of the normal Kohaku, he's actually very kind, even shy, and loves his sister very much.
His ordeal that night traumatized him, so his mind is vulnerable to Naraku's tricks, but hopefully his sister's love
(and the help of the Yasha gang) will get him through his pain.
Skills: Kohaku uses a weapon called a kusarikama [chained sickle]. He's pretty good with it, but his sister can defeat
him any day (he's just too young). As a boy training to be an exterminator, he's good at normal fighting techniques,
too.
Kagura
Occupation: servant of Naraku

Kagura is the second detachment of Naraku. Though he holds her life in his hands, she despises him and is scared of
what he may to do her. Her deepest ambition is to be rid of her ties to him. She has appeared many times to harass the
Yasha gang and makes their lives very difficult, but once she realized how much she hated Naraku, she has been halfway
rooting for anyone who opposes him or his minions. She even tried to commission Sesshoumaru to kill Naraku.
Personality: Seemingly over-confident, Kagura does know her powers very well, and pretty much acts cruelly to anyone
not on her side. She has no qualms about watching her comrads kill entire villages. Though she is controlled by Naraku,
she does her jobs for him as efficiently as she can.
Skills: Kagura has complete control of the wind in the area around her. This ability used to make life difficult for
InuYasha since he had to use wind currents to perform one of his most powerful attacks, but he later overcame this
problem. Kagome, if she's able to help, can dispel Kagura's control by shooting her Hamaya [Purity Arrows]. Kagura can
use Fuujin no Mai [Dance of Wind Blades], Ryuuja no Mai [Dance of the Dragon Snakes [Tornadoes]], and Shikabane Mai
[Corpse Dance]. She can also use a feather trick to fly around, and generally is a cool bad guy.
Kanna
Occupation: servant of Naraku

Kanna is the very first of Naraku's detachments. She uses a mirror to steal the souls of living people and can
manipulate the resulting soul-less bodies (or have others do so). At one point, she had to take time to repair her
mirror after a very large soul (Kagome's soul) was too big for it and cracked it. We see fleeting glimpses of her at
first, but she appears a bit more regularly in the show once we hit the Shichinintai arc of the series. She hasn't been
thwarted by the Yasha gang yet and has always been loyal to Naraku, unlike Kagura. She is often seen with Kohaku once
her appearances become more regular, but he's just as often seen with Kagura as well. She does Naraku's more important
jobs that don't involve killing (that's Kohaku's area), and usually is the one giving orders to the other detachments.
Personality: Her name in English means "nihility" and that's just what she is. She's completely devoid of emotion, even
coloring, and she speaks with a soft, chilly voice. You could say that she has no personality at all.
Skills: Like I said earlier, she has the ability to use her mirror to pull in the souls of living beings and manipulate
the leftover bodies as she wishes (or have someone else do so, like Kagura). Her mirror also serves as one of Naraku's
ways to observe things outside of his vision.
Hakudoushi

The sixth detachment of Naraku, Akago(AKA Naraku's baby) started out as an infant with powers to find the smallest
shred of evil in anyone and use it to control that person. His powers, when used on a dying person, could see a foggy
world that he suspected to be "the world between this one and the next," and it was his mission as Naraku's detachment
to find a way to enter it. Once when he was looking into the heart of a powerful monk on the verge of death, the monk
used the last of his holy powers to effectively sever him in half length-wise. (Eww). Kagura was given one half, and
Kanna took the other half. Kagura's half grew into a boy that looked to be somewhere between eight and ten-years-old in
human years (he became Hakudoushi), but Kanna's half remained as a baby (a whole baby). Hakudoushi, as Kagura discovered
one night, he does not have a heart inside of him. So, the baby with Kanna, if Kagura's suspicions are correct, is the
one who carries the heart. The baby might even be carrying Naraku's heart.
Personality: Hakudoushi is very arrogant, treating Kagura like his expendable assistant. He knows of Kagura's attempts
to betray Naraku, and since he has some sort of mental link with Naraku that Kagura does not, if she tries anything, he
can genuinely threaten to kill her for it. He's also very insightful and seemingly omniscient.
Skills: His skills include being able to wield weapons very well (so he's much stronger and faster than his
appearance). The weapon he favors currently is a spear. He can regenerate without end because no attack can kill him
(after all, his heart is safe in the baby leftover from the other half of Akago). He also has a very powerful barrier
like Naraku, so InuYasha's Kaze no Kizu [Wound of the Wind] attack has no effect. Lastly, he rode the demon horse Entei
for a few episodes, but Entei was beaten by Inuyasha recently, so now he has no ride. Aww...
Sesshoumaru
Occupation: demon lord
Age: 19 (appearance in human years)
Race: inu youkai [dog demon]
Function: kanzen youkai [perfect demon] Origin: unknown
Relatives: Inuyasha

Retainer/Follower: Jaken, Rin, Ah-Un
Sesshoumaru is InuYasha's older half-brother. Their father, also a demon lord, had Inuyasha with a human female, but we
don't know about Sesshoumaru's mother (yet). Sesshoumaru hates Inuyasha for having human blood (at least, that's the
reason he gives everyone), and feels insulted that their father gave Tessiga to Inuyasha while giving Tensaiga to
Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru can't even steal Tessaiga from Inuyasha--only a hanyou [half-demon] can hold and wield
Tessaiga (showing that the father did indeed intend the sword to be for Inuyasha only). He now also has it in for
Naraku, who tried to use one of his followers to force his hand (so for a while, he and the Yasha gang have the same
goal).
Personality: Sesshoumaru is cold-hearted, but we have seen signs of compassion. In episode 35, he saves the life of a
human child, Rin, and then is seen taking care of her, even guarding her, in later episodes. He still has a lot of
ambition, of course, and he still hates Inuyasha's guts, but perhaps someday he'll come to tolerate his little
half-brother.
Skills: In his human form, Sesshoumaru can use many poison attacks (Dokkasou [Toxic Flower Claw] and Dokumukou
[Paralyzing Poison]). He can move very fast, and he has excellent senses. In his demonic form, he's a very large dog
with sharp, strong, poisonous teeth, who can breath out very toxic, acidic air (Jakimukou [Paralyzing Miasma]). He
primarily uses a sword named Toukijin, useful for when Tenseiga isn't helpful in battle, and Toukijin's attacks include
Kenatsu [Sword Blast]. A "special attack" listed in the official character guide is Kegawa no Riyou [Pelt User], which
refers to the strange ways in which he uses the pelt over his shoulder throughout the series. His poison whip is not
mentioned in the character guide, but it just might be an extension of Dokkasou.
Rin

Rin is a human female child, who lost her parents and siblings to group of murderous raiders, and who went mute after
their deaths. She stole food to survive, and got herself beat up by the local villagers a lot since she was a burden to
them. She found Sesshoumaru after he was attacked full frontal by InuYasha's Kaze no Kizu [Wound of the Wind], and
decides to try to take care of him, but he does not accept her caretaking. However, after she's beaten up for stealing
food on his behalf, he cool-headedly inquires about the bruises on her face. Even Rin knows then that he's not
completely cold, and gives him a big smile. However, he leaves her to her own devices once he is healed up, and this is
when Kouga's tribe first enters the series. Though you think of Kouga as a nice guy, don't forget that he let his wolves
murder everyone in Rin's village, including Rin! Thankfully, though, Sesshoumaru revived her using Tensaiga, and
everything was happy again.
Personality: Rin is absolutely adhered to Sesshoumaru. She does exactly what he says, no matter what. She even makes
fun of Jaken when he annoys Sesshoumaru in order to help out her savior. She's otherwise a happy child, and pretty
likeable.
Skills: She's a human child...she can't really do anything. She can at least beat up on Jaken. That's a plus any day.
Jaken
Occupation: retainer to Sesshoumaru
Age: unknown
Race: some reptilian demon
Function: servant Origin: unknown

Pet/Retainer: none
Jaken is Sesshoumaru's retainer. Why Sesshoumaru keeps around such a groveling, annoying guy, no one can tell, but
Jaken is good comic relief, and later in the series, you can tell that he and Rin are becoming closer friends. He
constantly yearns for Sesshoumaru's approval, and appears often in the series. We even see a cute filler episode that
shows how Jaken and Sesshoumaru meet, affirming that Jaken, too, is a fangirl.
Personality: Jaken has a firm faith in the abilities of his master, Sesshoumaru. He knows that to see Sesshoumaru
smiling is a scary thing, that when Sesshoumaru saves a human (Rin) it is a shocking thing to behold, and that his
master is a powerful demon, able to destroy any enemy (or so he hopes). Jaken's sucking up can make him look like a
brown-noser, but he's otherwise a good, well-developed character.
Skills: Jaken does have a few magical abilities, granted to him by the Nintoujou [Staff of Heads]. The heads shoot
energy out of their mouths if Jaken points the right head in the right direction and taps the staff on the ground. He
also used this staff in episode 79 to create water. He rarely uses this staff, though, so I'm not sure what all of its
powers are.
InuYasha's Family
Family
InuYasha doesn't really have much of a family. His father died a while ago and we can assume that his mom is dead. The
only living family member that he has as far as we know is Sesshoumaru.
Inutaisho
He is Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru's dad. Kinda handsome ne? Not that much is known about Inutaisho. Inutaisho was a
demon amung demons, he was very powerful and apparently lived for centuries. Inutaisho had two mates in his life (If
that is what you would call them) The fist one was Sesshouamru's mother. I don't know her name or what she looks like.
I don't think the creator gave her a name. The second one was a young human girl. Her name was Izayoi, she was
apparently captured and given to him. Then I guess they fell in love, becasue Izayoi later bore his child (InuYasha).
Inutaisho protected Izayoi. He later died of his wounds after his battle with Ryuukossei.Inuyasha was an infant when
Inutaisho died. When transformed Inutaisho is apparently the size of a ten story building. While he was dying Inutaisho
asked the sword smith Totosai to make two swords out of his fangs. One for each brother. One sword would heal 100 humans
in one sweep,(Tensaiga) and the other would kill 100 humans or demons in one sweep(Tetsusagia). Inutaisho put the
Tetsusaiga in his grave and hid his grave in Inuyasha's right eye. Somehow he managed to do that when he was dead. I
think the fact that Inutaisho gave Sesshoumaru the healing sword was smart. I think that he did that to try to help
Sesshouamru like humans. He gave Inuyasha the Tetsusaiga to protect his mortal mother.
Sesshoumaru
Sesshoumaru is InuYasha's half brother. They both had the same father but InuYasha's mother was a human so InuYasha Is
half demon half human. Sesshoumaru shows little or none emotion whatsoever (except to Rin) He always keeps a straight
face and at many times appears cold and distant. He hates humans, therefore hates InuYasha for being the half demon
that he is. Everytime they meet they engage in a battle, InuYasha usually ends up injured. Sesshoumaru could kill him
but in the end always ends up sparing his life for some reason. Sesshoumaru was born to his father (Inutaishou) and his
mother (don't know her name) Both parents were pure full fledged Youkai, thus Sesshoumaru is a Youkai. 70 years after he
was born, InuYasha was born. Apparently Sesshoumaru and InuYasha lived in their fathers castle. Sesshoumaru tried to
kill InuYasha but failed, this resulted in his exile from his family or so I have heard. He was then assigned to Jaken.
He now wonders on his own with Jaken.
Brotherly love...NOT!
In general InuYasha and Sesshoumaru don't get along. They usually fight and the fights are usualy pretty damaging.
Sesshoumaru on many occations has had the chance to kill InuYasha but each time he is somehow stoped or he himslef
chooses not to. He vows that InuYasha will die by his hand. InuYasha has gotton some pretty good hits in there as well.
He almost killed Sesshoumaru but Rin saved him. InuYasha also once cut off Sesshoumaru's left arm. Unlike most people or
brothers Sesshoumaru didn't seek revenge on InuYashs after he cut of his arm. Although on occasion we do see the the two
of them get along with each other.
Relationships
~*InuYasha and Kikyou*~
*Sighs* Inuyasha and Kikyou, this one is hard. The love that almost worked... they were madly in love before Naraku
came a long and screwed everything up. Now that she thinks Inuyasha is the one that betrayed her, she's very different.
She's more cold and acts extra bitchy around him. She starts to warm up a bit towrds him, but she just doesn't love him
as she used to. Inuyasha is different, he still has feelings for her. To tell you the truth, I think he should just
give up on her, and eventually he does....but there's no use to be in love with a dead woman.
~*InuYasha and Kagome*~
Now these two are more like it! In the beginning Inuyasha doesn't like Kagome at all, but only because she reminds him
of Kikyou. Around episode 13 is where we see him liking her more. As of Kagome, she probably started to "like him more
as a friend" around episode 19-20. Inuyasha cares a lot for Kagome when he realizes that she loves him for who he is,
and doesn't taunt him for what he is. Only two people in his life has ever shown him that type of compassion. In times
when they're not fighting like a married couple, they always help each other out in battle. I see some good things
coming from this relationship...
~*InuYasha and Shippou*~
I love these two. The most ironic thing is that whenever they're together, Shippu acts like the adult and Inuyasha acts
like the child. Inuyasha's the one who always wines, pouts, and complains about things while Shippou thinks things out
logically. It's pretty sad if you ask me. They do care a lot for each other and look out for one another. Otherwise
they always fight and ends with Shippou being pounded on the head.
~*Miroku and Sango*~
I think out of all the relationships in Inuyasha that these two are DEFINATELY going to end up with each other. There's
no denying that they like or love each other. Miroku even admitted that he loved Sango, right in her face and Sango did
the same. (*grr* only if Inuyasha and Kagome could do that...) If Miroku went a long length of time without asking
Sango to bare him a son, you know somethings up. Even Sango got a little jealous when she was the only girl Miroku
never asked. They always fight side by side and comment on Kagome and Inuyasha's childish antics. Maybe when Miroku can
finally settle down towards ONE girl, Sango may provide Miroku's long going wish...you know what I mean *ehe ^_^;*
~*Kagome and Kouga*~
Finally one of the ones I've been dying to do. Why? Because Kouga is my favourite Character. Poor Kagome, everywhere
she goes, there's bound to be a demon that's not of the slightest fond of her. That's what happened when she met Kouga.
To tell you the truth, I don't really know if he loves her or not. All he's concerned about is that she can detect jewel
shards. Or as Inuyasha puts it, his "jewel detector." We find out Kouga has a crush on Kagome when he kidnapped her and
she's "his woman." Of course Kagome gets offended and slaps him, but that still doesn't stop him. Kouga, later in time,
finally sees how much Kagome loves Inuyasha, but still doesn't give up on her. Kagome only likes Kouga as a friend, but
just goes a long on what he says to her, which pisses off Inuyasha, because he says Kagome is just sucking up to Kouga.
To tell you the truth the relationship is kinda one-sided...
~*Sesshoumaru and Kagura*~
Have you noticed that everytime these two meet, they're distance from each other get closer and closer. Knowing
Sesshoumaru, he always needs his "space." We all know Kagura loves Sesshoumaru, because she's always saying how "strong
and hansome" he is. But Sesshoumaru's feelings for her are uncertain. I don't think he hates her to the bone, he has
somewhat feelings for her...not love feelings, but more like worry. Kagura doesn't even acknowledge him as
"Sesshoumaru-sama," she just gets his attention by saying a simple "yo" which is a VERY disrespectful thing to say
while addressing a Lord. You know it's bad when Rin and Jaken gasp in the background. Normally Sesshoumaru wouldn't of
payed her no mind, but he listens closely to what she says, but when he doesn't take her offer (no surprise there...)
she gets angry and calls him an "Asshole" loud enough for him to her. Rin is very observant and she tells Sesshoumaru
that "That lady seemed very lonely." Meaning, "she's lonely and you are too." I have no clue if they'd ever get
together, they're just too...different. But you'd have to study their facial expressions more to see how much they like
each other, not by what they say. They are demons of course...
~*Sesshoumaru and Rin*~
Finally the one I've been waiting for. Sesshoumaru saves a young girl's life with the Tensaiga. But was he testing the
sword? Or did he do it out of free will? I think he did it from his heart. If he didn't care, he wouldn't of gone back
when he smelt her blood, let alone save her. I think that her sympathy for him let him do it and that she wasn't
frightened of him at all. He may ignore her and not answer her when she asks him a question, but you know the love is
there. Around the time of The Shichinintai, you'll see how much he cares for her, and goes out of the way when he risks
his life to save her. And we all know Rin loves her Sesshy because she sings songs about him and picks flowers for him.
He's not deaf, he can hear, and that probably why her keeps her by his side. Oh yeah, and I don't think these two would
EVER marry or become mates or anything similar to that. She sees him as a father figure and he sees her almost like a
daughter...like he would ever admit that.
