This is not a story about New York. No, it is about somewhere else entirely different, which just happens to be; here and there a bit...New York-ian. If that's even a word. This story is about a city created within the confines of the authors own imagination, a story that is not restricted by the troublesome effort that comes along with writing a novel whilst having to deal with correct street names and the locations of various establishments. Note- This is a rough draft, totally unedited. So no smart ass comments about things not making sense.

A note from the author The universe in which Maybe We’re Miracles takes place; was not created by a greater being, nor was it created by a coincidental cosmic phenomenon. The universe and everything in it -excluding everything man made of course- came into being simply on the will and/or whim to exist. Quite simply, space wasn’t space back then, it was just blank. Like the inside of a giant boring matchbox. White everywhere as far as the eyes can see, with no disenable difference between up and down, and between left and right. Then again, if everything were white, we can assume that the first thing to will it’s self into existence would be the color spectrum...or would it be light? Actually, we can assume that the first thing to will itself into existence is the odd sensation that the world has a deeper and slightly more confusing meaning than that which we think it does. That even though we’re curious as to know what created the universe, and even more to the point why; we’ve far to many more important things to do. I feel the need to point out, that it [The universe] is in every way exactly like our own. Except for street names and the locations of various establishments. In case you hadn't already picked that up

Well I'm trying out a new writing style, loosely basing it off of Terry Pratchett. Who created the infamous Discworld. So I felt the strong urge to create my own alternate yet strikingly similar universe; but then of course I had to explain it..so yeah.
