Some cooking beginners I've mentioned this club to were afraid to join because they might
not feel so "advanced" in the kitchen. To make any new members feel more welcome, why not
a simple recipe or two?

I'll start.

Maple Syrup French Toast

1. Get a stale loaf of bread, cut into around 5 slices. Make sure to cut diagonally to
make the slices bigger.
2. Get a medium sized non-stick frying pan out, and slice 2 thick slices of butter or
splash a teaspoon of sunflower/olive oil onto the pan.
3. As the butter melts, get out 2 medium sized eggs and break them into a mixing bowl. Add
half a cup of milk and stir.
4. Add maple syrup to the mix. Just a teaspoon would do. Add another teaspoon of maple
syrup to the frying pan.
5. Stir well and dip the bread into the mix until it is fully absorbed, then add to the
frying pan.
6. Allow it to sizzle for 5 minutes or so and put on the frying pan lid for 1 minute.
7. Using a spatula, squeeze the bread and the flip it over. Repeat step 6.
8. Allow it to cool for 1 minute, and then you can tuck in and eat!

This makes a nice breakfast and is quick and fun to make.

I have a question:

How do I avoid the French Toast getting all egg-y? :U
Like, the egg sets in the pan and it just turns into scrambled eggs on toast.

You could use less ingredients I guess. Or you could make it separately and make a sweet
omelet? :I

A sweet omelet? *shudder* D:
I'll just not make French Toast instead.
Or I'll have my mom make it for me, lmao.
