A natural stoic, Elijah always kept a reticent and calm demeanor when making his way
through life. Raised to remain on par with his father's medical knowledge, abilities and
mind processing, he is generally a rational thinker and remains reserved in any scenario
which may present itself to him. Rarely he never demands perfection of others, but that's
not to say the same for himself. On his behalf, anything less then perfection is deemed
shameful and he'll go through deep waters in order to avoid it.
He often keeps a monotonous speech when talking to fellow coworkers, and was constantly
referred to as The Stone by his school peers. Despite his slight aversion to people, he
doesn't actively reject others. He enjoys listening to human voices, even if he's not the
one conversing with them. Born with synesthesia, he has a peculiar quirk of associating
sounds to objects. This enables him to pick up on things others would miss, making him
emphatic to others' emotions. However, Moran shows a charming, soft and considerate side
when around patients, which can often catch others off-guard. This prominent personality
swietch is most likely due of his compassion towards his younger sister, Lilith.

As one would expect, Elijah wasn’t brought up in your average household. His mother,
the head nurse to one of the largest hospitals in Ireland, went into a marriage of
convenience with his father, a well-decorated delegate and medical professional himself.
They often pressured their only son to perform. “You're the only Blackwell that can keep
the family name strong” was all they said to Elijah. However, the pressure did nothing
to stifle his own sense of pride and natural competitiveness against his peers. But it was
the most prominent trigger that caused him to pursue greater heights, and set his
Parental expectancy didn't come without its flaws. Along with his sister, Elijah received
countless hours of verbal abusive but because of his willingness, he was often excused
from any physical form. He eventually grew a strong hatred towards his father, along with
a subconscious respect towards the psychological arts. Surrounding himself in his father's
journals and the such, he eventually worked toward a medical degree around the time his
sister was sent to her first facility for countless signs of mental illness. When he
finished school, her relocation was nearly a few months after and he felt a sudden need to
be by her side. Once quitting his small office in northern England, he submit his
credentials to St. Helga's Asylum and was accepted as a general practitioner and
substitute psychologist. In hopes of helping with his sister head-on and many other girls
in need, Elijah plans to give them a new sense of mind.
-At this point, Elijah changed his surname to his mother's maiden name in order to
disassociate himself from his father.
