In the past, sometimes the Space Race of the Cold War Era is said to have promoted
technology advances and benefits besides whatever intangible ones. But the past few
decades, it seems that space exploration hasn't brought a lot of practical benefit to
mankind.

Most of the biggest additions to our scientific knowledge have occurred via unmanned
exploration.

So is it time to shelve manned missions and astronauting for a while, and just let
unmanned and robotic missions carry on? Or do you think that astronauts should still be
going into space?

What do you think?

Well instead of having real people go into space and having robots go instead I think
that sounds alot safer.
