Jane huffed at the last step, examining her surroundings as an achievement of her success. After taking in her new living environment, she walked down the hall to the last door, Room 214. There were three other doors on the floor all that seemed silent. Taped to their door was a letter; attached to it were two skeleton keys, etched with their room numbers. Dear Residence of 214, There are a few things set up in your room, if you happen to dislike them, be my guest and take them down. These keys are for the two following: Ava Hawthorne and Jane Butler If you dislike your roommate then we could discuss a change at the meeting we will have in a week. Otherwise sit tight. Your Landlord, Theodore Fisher “He seems nice, I haven’t met him face-to-face yet, only spoke with him in the phone. Have you?” She tore off the note and kept a key while giving the other to Ava. Turning her back toward her, she slipped the key into the lock and pushed it open with a bit of a tug. “There we go!!”

"Not at all." She said, rolling a small suitcase into the apartment. "It's cute in
here." She commented, setting it down. "I think there's only one bedroom in here, we can
either get two twins or I can sleep on the couch." She said.

Jane turned to face Ava, "We're both woman, I don't think it will be a problem - sharing a room an all." She gave a light laugh, bending down to her dogs and letting them off their leashes. "It's really up to you, because these are the monsters you would have to worry about. They love to sleep in warm areas, so cuddling with you at night is very likely." Scratching the back of their ears, they rubbed against her knees and took off once she pulled away.

"Twin beds it is." She said, smiling. She was long, but she didn't care. It was
better than lugging her California King over and stuffing it inside that tiny room. She
smirked, walking into the bedroom. A large bed dominated it, with two dressers and two
nightstands. She started putting her clothes away neatly in one.

Jane followed after her into the room, admiring the little details it was put into it. Tossing her bag onto the bed, she mimicked Ava and began stuffing the other dresser. "So what do you do, Ava - for a living?"

"Right now? A model, but I'm majoring in forensic photography down at the art
college." She said, sliding her suitcase under her dresser. "If that doesn't pan out, I'm
going to either stay a model or go into freelancing." And by that, she meant messing
around with Unity and making you pay thirty dollars for an okay horror game.

"Oh, interesting! Why forensic photography though? Such a weird switch, modeling to forensic photography." She pulled two metal bowls from her bag, setting them down on the near the foot of dresser. From the side pockets, she pulled out a small bag of dog food and bottled water, dividing them into the designated bowl.

"I've always wanted to go into forensics, but I'm shit at using a microscope and
freshman Biology made me sick to look at the things. I'm good at photography though,
so..." She smiled, scratching at a dog's head.

"That's fascinating! Turn something so- real into forms of beautiful masterpieces just as a part of greater good! Just marvelous.." She mumbled off to herself, watching her mutts at Ava's feet before realizing their food and running off to it. "Now, I'm am just starving! Ready to eat?" Throwing on a beige double breasted coat, the collar ending at her chin as the length of it stopped just above her knee. "I underestimated the weather." She laughed to herself, slipping her leather satchel over her shoulder.

She nodded, grabbing a (considerably warm) pea jacket and her own purse. She
walked out the door, dropping her own key into a little pocket in there. She turned
around, "My car is in the parking lot, it's not much but it can get us there."

"Is it worth it, having a car in New York? I guess it would be for the outer boroughs, huh? Where is your school?" She opened her bag and through out a few chewable dog treats for Mocha and Cocoa. Continuing out, she waited for Ava to follow along so she can lock the door. OOC: Should we move to the sushi bar now?
