Because the teacher doesn't really care what the kids do in this class, they just do whatever while he sits and plays on his computer. Often times this room is loud and noisy, and better suited for outgoing children rather than the quiet ones.

Elena sighed as she tried to focus on writing an essay for class but was usually
unsuccessful due to the large amount of ruckus that always took place in the class. She
tolerated it though, there was nothing she could do about it. She started writing about
Tuberculosis in the 1800s and 1900s which as always something she had been interested in,
surprisingly. Elena tried not to get distracted by some boys throwing objects and girls
delivering and/or developing new bits of gossip.

Xavier walked into the class room annoyed with the noise. Xavier walked over to the only
open chair beside Elena. As hewalked the chains hanging from his pants jingled. He took a
seat and pulled a notebook from his black and red checkered bookbag. He slouched in his
chair as he began to sketch an outline of something.

Elena listened to the jingles that came seemed to come closer. They seemed out of place
with the loud chattering and everything else seemed to be going on in the classroom. She
looked to her side to see a boy sitting down in the seat next to her. She watched as his
pencil started to move on the paper. She thought he might be writing an essay to until she
recognized the way he moved his pencil in strokes. Elena went back to focusing on her
essay but as much as she loved writing about things that interested her, she wished she
was doing something else. She tried eavesdropping on the group of girls that were
gossiping and exchanging rumors. The girls talked about someone going out with some other
person and kept going on about how they thought the couple looked together. Elena sighed
once more 'If this were my class, it would be the exact opposite of what it is now. In
fact, if I were teaching, we'd be learning about the Victorian Era.' she thought. She
looked over at the boy again. Maybe he would talk to her? Elena shook her head and tapped
her pencil on the desk.

Xavier wasn't sure what he was drawing yet. But as his picture took shape he noticed,
Elena glancing at him. She interested him. He wanted to speak to her but was slightly
nervous. He looked over at her. She looked distracted as if she couldn't concentrate. As
he was thinking a piece of flying paper hit him the head. It was intentionally thrown at
him by one of the more "popular" kids. He glared at them with peircong eyes. He then
looked over at Elena and decided on speaking to her. "Hello. What's your name? I am
Xavier." He looked at her waiting for a response. He couldn't smile, though he wanted to.
To many things he hated were gouge through his head. He tried not to show it but inside he
was very sad and lost. He was at a point were on certain days he couldn't even muster up a
fake smile. Which made it all the more harder to pretend he was happy.

Elena turned her head to face the boy. "Oh, Hello. My name is Elena." She introduced
herself in her natural British accent with a small smile on her face. "Its nice to meet
you." She put her notebook and pencil back into her bag. "You have a nice name. It's very
unique. I've never heard of it before." She complimented him, hoping to keep the
conversation going.

"Thank you." He replied. "Yours is lovley aswell. And I like your accent." Xavier amiled
" lovley class isn't it." He rolled his eyes. "Nothing ever gets done. All I ever can do
in here is draw." He was happy to be talking to someone. He was normally very shy and
quiet but he was drawn to Elena. Something about her made him curious.

"Well thank you as well." Elena giggled as Xavier rolled his eyes and began to repeat
what she had been previously thinking. "I highly agree with you. If this were my class, it
would be the exact opposite of what it is now. In fact, if I were teaching, we'd be
learning about The Victorian Era or The American Swing era." She sighed and rested her
head in her palm. "Oh, if you don't mind me asking... What were you attempting to draw a
little while ago?" She asked him, curiously.

Xavier laughed aswell. "Ofcourse I don't mind. I was just drawing a mythical creature of
sorts. Would you like to see some of my drawings?" He smiled and slid his drawings towards
her. "They're ok I guess. Im not the best artist.but I enjoy it." He shrugged. "You have
very pretty eyed by the way." He smiled and sat up a little straiter in his chair causing
the chains to jingle again.

Elena nodded as Xavier slid the drawing to her. "Mythical Creatures? Like what kind?
Things like pretty unicorns or ugly cyclopes?" She looked through the pictures, admiring
them and handling them delicately. "They are wonderful. At least you can draw! I have a
hard time just trying to draw simple things. I'm more of a writing person. I describe
images in my writing for the person whom is reading it to imagine. I guess you could count
it as drawing... but with words." She said and gave him back the pictures when she was
finished looking through them. She giggled at his compliment "Well, all the better to see
you with, my dear!" she said, sounding like the wolf from the Little Red Riding Hood story
"But thank you, you are too kind."

Xavier laughed. "Both I guess, all depends on my mood." He took the book and put it back
into his backpack. Xavier smiled and said, "Im no good at refuting stories. But I am quite
poetic. And you're welcome. Everyone takes me as scary and dark. But in reality im quite
nice. Not many give me a chance to show them." Xavier frowned at the thought. He had
become an outsider. All Becquerel of the way he looked. He refused to change though. He
had a point-to-point prove. The way you dress doesn't necessarily define you as a person
completely he though.

"Poems? I'm okay at poems. I'm more of a story teller." Elena's smile dropped as he
started talking about other people. It was one of the things she disliked the most.
"People are absolutely ridiculous! They are blinded by first impressions and I cannot take
such things! Well, Xavier, those people are just too... incompetent to understand!"

Xavier laughed. "Its ok." He shrugged. "I have gotten use to it." He smiled. "Anyways to
move on to a happier subject, where are you from?" He sat up and rested his hand in his
head, feeling drowsy. "Oh yea, and would you like toy grab somethinvg to eat with me after
class?" Hsqq smiled again warmly.

Elena nodded "Alright. Well, I am from England. As my accent states. I moved to the U.S
when I was but a mere child and assume you are American?" She smiled at him "Sure, I'd
like that very much."
