For the first time in two months,
I came home to no one-
well, someone, but not you.
I scrounged around for a letter,
a sign that you left me,
not just this worthless house.
A table holding a bowl of grapes;
It held a myriad of schedules.
But nothing left of you, dear.
Johnny Cash's melodies flutter
up from the basement.
Who am I again?
I stumble into your room;
Little Meow is sitting,
on your tousled covers.
I shakily slide onto the
blown-up air bed, sinking in
to this brand new feeling.
I inhale your scent from the pillow,
and imagine it filling my soul.
If that were all I needed,
how easy it'd be.

(this poem is pretty to the point. It's my response to coming home on a Wednesday
afternoon to a lack of Mike, my boyfriend.)
Po-e-try makes me happyyyy.

Thanks. ^_^

And nooo! XD He used to sleep over every Wednesday, so he could get my little sister on
the bus when no one is home. So he sleeps in the guest bedroom.. And that room smells like
him. <3 Now I usually come home, throw my backpack down, and lay in that bed for a bit..
Po-e-try makes me happyyyy.
