Okay so a lot of people have debated about their hatred/love for Yaoi in
animes and mangas. I personally am a major Yaoi-con type since I respect gay rights. I
guess you could say it would be one of my fetishes, and mostly the most experience I have
Do you like/dislike Yaoi? Why or why not? First series/book?
Here's a club for roleplaying yaoi, it's fun!
I have enjoyed yaoi since I was in 8th grade. I love gay people. In my book Mortal
Instruments there's a flamboyant warlock who's dating Alec and there happy. Magnus is
considered Flamboyant but he's bisexual. He talks about all these girls he's dated.
I've liked yaoi since I was in like
fifth grade. I was a horrid child.
The only shounen-ai monga (which was really a manhwa) I've read was Boy Princess [Kiss Me
Princess]. The story was okay but the art was HORRENDOUS.
I'm not a fan of rigid seme and uke roles on yaoi because I think it's
A) fucking boring
B) a ghastly misrepresentation of real gay couples
C) artistically lazy.
Any cynicics/artists/yaoi fans would probably get a laugh out of yaoihands.tumblr.com ;B
Why did it come to this....
-_- I think this is already well known, I hate yaoi....and the main reason is the fans of
it. Most yaoi fans I know take some of my most beloved anime male characters and turn them
from good friends (or in some cases rivals) and makes them into gay lovers.
I would have a problem with yuri to if it had such a prevalent fanbase doing the same
thing to characters done with yaoi, but it is much more rare (the only one I can think of
is like Princess Bubblegum and Marceline).
Now don't get me wrong you can watch whatever animated pornographic material you like
whether it yaoi or yuri, the problem I have is when they make pictures of my most beloved
characters making out.....
Don't believe me? Well here is a perfect (if not, humorouss) example
Well a lot of people do Naruto yaoi and here's a good reason why:
Episode 3 was a hilarious episode. The makers were just asking for there to be a million
fanfiction for all the characters of Naruto.
And then there's Kuroshitsuji which is purposely suggestive:
Yeah I find it annoying when people pair anime characters but what can ya do about it? Get
over it. I enjoy yaoi cause I like it. Now I'm going to obsess over this boy I like cause
I'm a boss like that and I actually started talking to him. BECAUSE OF HIM I DONT HAVE TO
RESORT TO MAKING OUT WITH GIRLS NO MORE!!! Well I'll still do that too.
I can understand fan yaoi being offensive if it's of your favourite characters in a
totally nonsexual series where it wouldn't even make sense for them to be fucking.
Like, a lot of fanfic/smut/slash bothers me because the pairings don't even work.
New club rule on shipping: Obama-san and Romnu-kun is now everyone's OTP.
I enjoy Akuroku but I mean there has been some phrases in the series of Kingdom Hearts
that shows that Axel is in love with Roxas. Like when Axel is dying and Sora asks "Axel,
what were you trying to do?" And Axel replies with "I wanted to see Roxas. He... was the
only one I liked... he made me feel... like I had a heart. Its kinda of... funny. You make
me feel... the same..."
I had to look up the video for that cause I haven't played Kingdom Hearts 2 in a while.
After I finished it, I stopped playing it.
I adore hardcore and softcore yaoi. Like I love Gravitation and Loveless cause there
adorable. But I also love Junjou Romantica which like Gravitation is a mix of hardcore and
softcore. Unlike Gravitation, its more hardcore than softcore. Gravitation is more
softcore than hardcore but it does have its moments. I have 3 hardcore yaoi manga in my
room. They show everything and my guy friends, specifically Andrew, calls it my gay porn
which is kinda true.
