We've all heard about it. We all know it exists. So let's discuss it.

I am active in trying to save others from suicide. My many accounts on Kupika talk with users who are depressed and considering suicide. Actually, I've saved about 3-4 people who were seriously considering it. One is a friend whom I don't speak with anymore. One is my boyfriend of over a year. One is my best friend. And one is an online friend. But it makes you feel so proud for having been able to save someone from death.

I once felt like it... I was depressed.

But I'm so glad I didn't, and turning against it has made me love the world so much more.
I would never consider it ever again.

I consider living as a revenge. I'll let life throw whatever they have at me, and I'll
still live it through, and I won't back down. Living makes me strong - willfully,
physically, mentally.

To me, suicide is for cowards who can't take it anymore and decides to go the easy way
out, just so they won't have to face their problems.
Even if they are depressed, even if something bad happened to their health - physically
and mentally - they still shouldn't consider it. There's no turning back, no second
chance, nothing to change anymore, and nothing to learn from it. They're turning away from
life, denying it, rejecting it, refusing it. They're not taking the chance to
learn, to change - metamorphasizing from a caterpillar to a butterfly, and to
find themselves.
Maybe some of them see life as one big joke, something to make fun of, something to end
quickly, and others despair over it, wanting to know, wanting to escape. Maybe a
lot of them see suicide as something to punish themselves for their mistakes.
They can't note the beauty of the world, I say, because why would they want to end
something beautiful?

I have had suicidal thoughts before but I always stopped myself before I did any major
damage because I though of my friends and family that would miss me if I were to kill
myself.

Does anyone know someone who has attempted to or committed suicide?

Were there any warning signs of it? Did you have an idea it was coming?

If there were warning signs no one saw them. She was always acting like everything was
fine.

There are always warning signs. People who commit suicide don't want to. They want to get help, but they feel it is the way out of their problems.
