The girl rang a bell , and Lupus half expected a healer to come in finally thawing out his
grapes of course.
Lupus's mouth twitched , his hands fidgeted. If it werent for the guard that had pushed
his foot down on his back , Lupus might have taken the grapes and thrown them in her royal
little face. "Jotuns," he explained , clearly annoyed at the Queens ignorance. Why
not have a nice chat later? Preferably when Lupus was not slowly dropping temperature.
"Big Ice Giants , they live in the north. I swallowed their cursed enchanted water and am
going to literally freeze if I cant get help."
That was the whole jist of their grand adventure, half of what the Wolf remembered
of the journey was summaized like this:
"Cold , Wet , Obnoxious , that was the entirety of the trip and the Giants. I didnt really
focus on details , I was trying to stay alive." Like now. This girls curiousity was the
only thing keeping him from death and having his life staked with this - this
child infuriated him to no end.
""And then we came here," he finished. "Orion ... thawed me out and told me you had
sorserers who knew the extent of this magic."
He tried sitting up more only to be pushed back down by one of the golden guards - Lupus
was this close to losing patience , and he would sure as hell kill these people to
get his foot off of him. Three lives was nothing to a Star, theyve seen trillion more.
And so he did.
Transforming is involuntary, second nature. Just like moving your arm , taking his
celestial form is like taking off a coat - a very human like coat. But then all of a
sudden, it wasnt. He started wriggling free from the guards, only to be pushed flat
on the floor. The Wolf was panicking, his celestial form seemingly not ... in reach.
It had to be because of his weakened body, surely. But never has he felt so human
before , his connection to his true nature just cut loose like a broken string.
"What did you do?" Lupus asked quickly, his mind reeling and reeling in sudden sickness.
Suddenly, his hands reached up to the golden band Orion had snapped on his neck - in his
sudden exit Lupus hadnt fully taken off all the trinkets. The gold neck piece - no
collar was sealed shut and even when Lupus clawed and tore at it the thing remained
Orion that stupid fucking traitor.
