Violet walked in and smirked. It was a bit too small for her tastes, and bright,
but that was okay. She liked the flatscreen on the wall, though. Better than the box she
used to have. She dropped her suitcases (gingerly!) on the ground and walked around,
drawing the curtains on the large window. Huh. There was a balcony.

(OOC: Just wanted to check because I think I saw something in the rules: you got
permission to make this, right? o.o)

Rachel practically ran into the room. She slowed when she saw how small it was. "Wait, we
have to live in this?" Her bottom lip stuck out a tad as she set her suitcase against the
wall. "My bedroom is bigger than this." The balcony seemed to have a nice view and it
would no doubt prove to be a great hangout spot. The TV was a nice surprise as well.

ooc: I did.

"My brother and I had the attic as our bedroom." She said. "And, I think there are more
rooms and a kitchen somewhere." For all she knew, this was a closet and the rest of the
dorm was a mansion.

"I sure hope so," she pouted. She knew how spoiled she sounded, but being raised as the
daughter of a town mayor meant most of her life was lived in luxury. "There's no way I
could stay a whole year in this small little hut." She walked towards the balcony. She
made a note to spend time later tanning. "I imagine this is much nicer than an attic

"Trust me, this is far from a hut. In Munich, we were poor. Our father and we
lived in one smaller than this." One bedroom, one bathroom, kitchenette. She sighed,
opening a door. "Found the rest." She mused, seeing the kitchen and bedrooms.

Turning around and following where Violet had gone, Rachel peered through the doorway.
She gasped in pleasant surprise. "Ooh, this looks fabulous!" Pulling her phone from her
pocket, she started snapping pictures. "My mom is just going to LOVE this!"

Violet picked the bedroom on the left, as she was left handed. She set her stuff
on the floor and started unpacking. She mostly wore dresses and blouses and billowy
skirts, so she didn't have many sets of clothes. Why do that when you can combine them?
She opened the other suitcase up and started putting everything in places.

Seeing that Violet had taken the bedroom on the left, Rachel decided to start claiming
the one on the right as her own. She went back into the first room, which she was mentally
calling the "den" and grabbed her suitcase. Pulling it behind her on its wheels, she
walked into her new room. "Oh, hey, Violet?" she called out, peering her head out of the
doorway. "If there's a knock on the door, don't freak out. It's probably just one of the
janitors with the rest of my luggage."

"You have more?" Violet asked. She did have more clothes and personal belongings,
but she did prefer to go back home and get it herself, especially since Petunia and
Hyacinth lived fifteen minutes away. She finished setting everything up, looking around.
She reminded herself to send for her keyboard, or if she was lucky, her baby grand.

"Oh, yeah," she shouted back, now in her room again. She unzipped the suitcase she
did have that sat on her bed. "I have a TON of clothes. Hopefully they all fit in
this closet!" On top of her giant collection of sweaters and jeans, she'd also packed
quite a few appliances that she couldn't imagine being without (hair straightener, a
coffee maker, and a mini fridge, among others).

"Do you think we could fit a baby grand piano in here?" asked Violet. "I don't
like getting rusty." She played the piano all the time, it was her favorite instrument.
That, and her ocarina, which she did bring. It didn't shatter, thank God. She moved into
the one bathroom, putting her contact cases and bottle of solution in the medicine
cabinet, which was stocked with the basics. Aspirin, Tylenol, et cetera.

"Yeah, probably!" she replied loudly. "It's sure big enough to! I'm sure we could find
room for it anyway." She started to hang up the various tops she'd managed to fit into
this particular suitcase. She made a mental note to order pictures at a local drugstore,
given that they had a photography section. The walls were too bare for her liking. It
almost made her feel suffocated.

She finished by hanging her blackout curtains, turning the room dark as can be.
She liked it like that, it was nice. Especially when she hung Christmas lights up (note to
self: buy christmas lights). Making her bed with her favorite comforter and setting her
laptop on the desk, she stepped back and looked at it. Nice. She then spoke again. "Hey,
Rachel? I put sunscreen in the medicine cabinet, I need it. Don't use it." It was SPF 50,
and the best sunscreen she had.

"Got it!" she shouted from inside her closet. That reminded her she needed to purchase
sun-tanning oil. She certainly didn't want to burn when she went tanning later. When she
finally finished hanging her clothes in the closet, she collapsed on the unmade bed.
"Unpacking is such hard work! I'm exhausted!"
