I frowned as he laughed at me, feeling slightly disappointed. Head swung down low as I
muttered to him slightly. "Sorry.." His question run in my ears for a moment as I pondered
on why I was really here. Legs shifted me around a bit, making a tight circle and swishing
my tail. I stopped a little off from the way I had been posed and looked off in the
distance from him. "I was exploring slightly. Looking for something even." I watched him
heft his golden body up into the air, reaching the apples on the tree. It was sort of
strange to see apple in the wild, but then again, the wild brought many strange things.
"Oh, neither do I. I mean, it's been a while since the last equine I've seen!" I sounded
like I was boasting. How might a horse who hasn't seen anyone ever be so sane?

Flash chuckled, "I haven't seen an equine in about two weeks. I love the
peace." He told her, walking around slowly. His hooves subtly kicked up little scrabbles
of dirt and knocked over little blades of grass. He lowered his head to taste the
bittersweet grass and chew it long and hard and swallow it.
He looked up at her, "What're you doing out here all alone, anyways?" the palomino horse
asked, tossing his forelock out of his face and let his ears stand up to prevent it from
falling once more into his dark eyes. He dragged his light feet on the ground as he kicked
off and danced around, obviously letting out some pent up loneliness.
He slowed down to a stop and sighed, smiling half-heartedly. "I've been so bored though.
You ever get lonely?" he asked as he approached her and stood near. By no means did he
mean any harm, heck, he was probably the complete opposite of harms way. He was completely
out of it, and tried to put her more on a friendlier hoof with him than the nastier one.

I chuckled as well; uneasy feeling swishing around me. "The peace around me kills me. It
is so quiet and along. I hate being alone." I smiled up to him in a soft snow smile. I
watched him paced around, chewing grasses, and continue on. "Me? I was wandering around.
Looking for home. Yes--" I drifted of slightly, watching him kick and dance around. His
hair had fallen in his face again and I laughed, moving just out of the way a bit. A quiet
grumble to myself reminded me how entertaining it was to be with others again. "Home, I
recall. I had been looking for home. I rather found you instead!" Eyes blazed out in
bright light before he approached pretty close and I snorted, whickering out and bobbing
my head a bit. I walked closer, steps chadily taking towards him and I flicked my tail.
"It does get boring out here. So along and loner like? Oh, I dread it at night when there
is every think out on the prowl for an easy meal. A sleeping horse? Quick. Easy.. Dead in
a second." I made a splicing noise, shaking a bit. I reached out, nipping at his shoulder,
looking up to the taller stallion. My, what a stallion.

//ooc; how you make it little? :o //

"It's alright for me, I guess. I get lonely some times but that's alright.
I'll live." He said, smiling half heartedly as he finally stopped prancing around like a
giddy foal with a new play mate.
He shifted his weight to one side and flicked away flies with his tail and tossed his head
so the course hair that trailed down his neck was to one side of it and not all over and
in complete disarray.
He sighed, lowering his head to nibble at the heads of the little green grass people below
them. He chewed it long and hard and swallowed the big lumps.
Gold raised his head and backed up a little, "Why do you find yourself all the way out
here anyway?"

"Alright? That should not be alright. Every horse needs company along the way. At
least I have seen the sane ones with some company here and there. Traveling alone can
cause one to lose their mind, ya know?" I gave a little 'hmpf' with a stance like I was
proud of what I just said. When I first got into the world alone, I knew I was pretty
smart for my own. He flicked his head around-- eating again!-- raising away. "Mmm.
Because. What else is there ta do in a horse life when one is alone? As I said; one can go
i'sane but, I try my hardest not ta go." I glanced away a bit. "Plus I was forced away
once momma died."

"Your mom died?" he asked. He raised his head and looked at her with sheer
interest on his pale face. His eyes scanned her for any doubts that she might be lying but
couldn't seem to find any. His ears pricked up with alertness and then shifted a little.
His tail smacked his legs and small beats.
"My parents are both alive as far as I know. I had a brother who died at birth because of
a puma." He huffed.
Gold looked down with disappointment that he hadn't done anything to save him and maybe
he'd have a partner to walk around with, but he couldn't help it. It wasn't his place to
defend him. It was his fathers, and his father didn't do his job. Therefore he should be
mad at his father, but he couldn't help but be overwhelmed with guilt.

I nodded to him, looking up slightly. "I said I came from the ocean I think. Momma
tried to save me. Risking her self to be the prey of the great big waves." I frowned with
a slight frustration through my mind. "Only if I had not been such a hard headed filly--
she'd still be alive and I'd be home, safe and warm. Lazily relaxing with my mother.." I
smiled at the thought and image of it all. "Father pushed me away after that. Blaming me
for killing her. I didn't know it was going too. I just wanted to play-" I looked down,
eyes dropping and head dropping as well as I swished my tail in a slight manner of
drooping in the current life. "As far as I know; Im an only foal. No one to know. Lonely
foal life, yes."

Gold listened, closing his eyes as her soft sounds went into his ears and
imprinted themselves on his brain long enough for him to recognize them as words. He
looked down as she told him that and gave her a sad, heartful look.
"I'm sorry." He told her, not even knowing what to say or how to comfort her. He felt so
bad, he'd only lost a little brother he didn't know so he couldn't relate much because
that wasn't his mother. He loved his mother, but they'd all separated long enough ago that
he had learned to live without her.
His tail smacked his hind end and tickled his flank with the thick and split ends.
