Clicking the Clubs link in the blue menu area is handy and its great to see the recent
posts in our clubs that we are a member of...

but the top section showing "hot clubs" i assume only shows like the five most recent
postings at whatever clubs are out there.

I think it would be nice if that portion were moved to a diff page, like a Kupika Clubs
page instead of a "My Clubs" page

....this would especially be helpful for new peopleor if you were looking for new clubs to

on this new "Kupika Clubs Page" i think there should be the sections i suggest below..

Universal Suggestions:
-the club owner account can't be deleted, so that no "abandoned-clubs" ever show up in
these listings.
-Also a second universal limitation should be that the club has to have a posting/activity
in the last 30 days. This again insures that only "active clubs" would appear in the
-if the club is private then it doesnt appear in these sections*

the sections I suggest are:

1. a Top 5 (or 10) Most Recent Postings (like is already occurring) the so-called

2. a Top 5 Most Popular Public clubs based on total membership

3. a Top 5 Most Popular Private clubs based on total membership

4. the 5 Newest Clubs which is based on creation date

5. a Top 5 Most Voluminous ("Active") based on the Topics created statistic (number of
club topics)

6. a "featured club" like sort of what occurs when you first log into Kupika with the
profiles...basically it would be a random club description page at the bottom of the
Kupika Clubs page (but with the limitation that it has to be active) that would
automatically op in to the bottom section whenever the Kupika Clubs page was called up...

*regarding the "private" vs. "public" option club owners now have.....i wonder if it would
be better to have a third option....to select as a club owner..

public: its open, discussion, is open etc. appears in these sections above
limited: the discussion page (topics) and memberlist is viewable but not the actual
discussion thread, appears in these sections above
private: totally private like we currently have, doesnt appear in anything but
potentiallly the top 5 private club listing

the benefit of this middle option is that we currently have this all or nothng situation
and some club owners are terrible at really describing the club...making you have to join
before you can tell whether its any fun or active...but if they would select limited then
at least we could see what their topics are about and how many there are (besides guessing
from the topic numbers stat)
also in this option then they would show up in the "most recent" clubs/hot-clubs list
above...but under the private designation they would not...allowing for privacy of those

as always thanks for all your hard work and dedication. file this under suggestions for

I think that is a great idea. It is hard for new members to find clubs or even old
members that want to be in new clubs. You always have to search for something specific and
then things that don't even relate to the subject pop up.

yeah skychord...if they do then they do...

maybe some people will be motivated to make clubs that are popular and change that..

and the rest of us wont care much that those are the top clubs...

its somethign that we who have been around Kupika already KNOW..

but part of having such a top 5 club is so that people who are lookign to join clubs can
find some active popular clubs..

frankly it is apparent that those types of topics and communication is what the people
want....there's no point in denying that

I think that's a good idea, it will give people a chance to get their clubs to the top or
simply let members find active clubs. Mostly it's just dead clubs. :<
