That does sound pretty damn awesome. The idea of some new 9th Doctor material makes me
especially happy. I just knew Eccleston would be donning the leather jacket again some
time in the future. Roll on November ....

This exact story was reported in the Mirror last year (obviously with no 11) and never
happened.

It's rather more wise to believe nothing until it's confirmed by the BBC. Anything with an
unnamed 'source' or an 'insider' is to be questioned.

Notice the year and the date that they implied it would certainly happen on.

Eh, you do have a point. I just blindly trusted MSN news, lol. It does look a little more
reputable than the Mirror version though.
We can but hope.

I actually don't hope it happens.

I doubt it will happen (don't laugh at me if it does, now!) because..Matt Smith in it?
Before 10 has even regenerated into him? Lots of Whovians don't watch CIN, so I doubt
they'd introduce Matt Smith on that!

9 and 10 would obviously be love though.

Another good point, but yes, 9 and 10 would be amazing. I wonder if Eccleston would do it
though. He seems to have cut all ties with Doctor Who, somehow I can't imagine it.

I haven't seen him in much/anything else since, so he might go for it. He left because he
didn't want to be typecast. But he might go for it if he's not busy with lots of other
acting jobs. Which appears to be the case.

He was a bloody brilliant Doctor, absolutely fantastic. David Tennant auditioned for the
9th Doctor, I'm so glad he didn't get it! The 9 -> 10 transition and changes in
personality were perfect.

He was absolutely brilliant, I think DT has kind of overshadowed him (not that he isn't
equally or even more brilliant). I wish they would have a few more 9th Doctor references
with the current incarnation. When they realised how excellent DT was it was like they
just forgot about Eccleston.
I'm feeling nostalgic now, I might break out my 1st series DVD's :D
