Posts: 120 I am not a registered voter and i have never voted in any political
election....not national, state or local..(nor on the measures and such)

With the presidential elections coming up in the U.S. next year...I am wondering whether I
should become a voter

(no this is NOT a hypothetical)...

So what do you think? can you convince me to become a voter?

Which political party should I join? (probably i would lean Libertarian)

And of the candidates announced or expected to run for U.S. President which one do you
think I should vote for?

I'd like to make a comment, but I can't...
I've got another 6/7 years until I start voting.

Lol I'd say democrat but you know tons of people will vote 4 Hillary just because she is
a women, which is as stupid as not having a woman there at all. The same goes for Baraque
because he's black......

I'd personally vote for Barack Obama if I was an American. He seems to be more prepared
to get equal rights, although I do think he is focusing too much on black rights rather
than the rights of everyone.

Oh, and why should you vote? So you have a right to complain about who's running your
country. If you never voted, you hav no right to whinge.

actually thats a common misunderstanding and argument set forth by voters...but to
paraphrase George Carlin that's fucked up and turned around....

say you vote and your guy (or girl) gets can't complain then or youre a

say your candidate doesnt get elected then you can complain....but there's nothing really
to say that your candidate woudl be doing better..

only by remaining completely outside of the process, am i free to weigh it, measure it,
judge it, and complain about it....without any hypocrisy...

You're not technically a voted for what the candidate promised to do. So
if they didn't do something they promised, surely you have a right to complain.

If you don't want to vote or have no reason to, why should we convince you? and then if
anything is screwed up, you can at least say that you had nothing to do with it. :D

yeah ..... i dont think it will be this year.....i think that barack would make for an
interesting president i dont know how good he would be..and McCain would make probalby a
solid but extremely boring either one of those i dont really care..

Hillary...personally i think she would make for a lousy president...but more importantly i
just don't want to hear her whiny voice for the next 4 or more years..

come to think of distracted too much by Obama's Dumbo Ears...i mean my god those
things are so huge....

i can't stand to look at ears in general...they are really ugly...i mean do you ever look
at people's ears....most are horrific...

why cant humans have cute looking a kitty's or even little furry floppy ones
or something...but nooo we've got these nasty cartilage ridged whorly thingies....

i can only look at them if they are small and flat against someones head and preferably
not too odd looking.... and really most really good looking people have tiny and flat

but not god....his ears are huge and they stand at like almost 90 degree
angles from his face.....he looks like Mickey Mouse....i dont know if I could stand to
look at him for 4 or more years....just for that reason alone....

so yeah probalby a good thing im not a voter...

president and there's a lot of ignorant people im afraid it may be status quo wiht
McCain but we will see..we might know better after the debates

Yeah, there is a lot of talk that if Obama wins, he’ll be assassinated.
Eh, I really don’t want McCain to win.
His views on everything are just so old-fashioned/conservative/stupid.
