so apparently here in the United States one way (by far the "easiest" and fastest way) to
become a citizen is to "invest" (bribe would be more appropriate) $500,000 into a company
then they let you into the country.....that is wrong on so many levels

Amen. However, even worse; Getting married just to be a citizen then divorcing...

Yes, but that isn't corrupt it's not a good system, but it is not like its a multibillion
dollar corporation looking for a bribe from some one who wants to come to this country!

It's too easy to get in to Australia. They come on boats, then get let in and get given a
car, house, and mobile phone. Australia is becoming overpopulated. Gold digger Filipino
women come over to marry 60-year old men, stay married for one year, then get their
citizenship, and divorce them and take half their money. They used to turn the boats
around, but now they let them in with a pat on the back and a Vegemite sandwich.

That's not what I'm saying. I don't think it is okay for people to come into a country
illegally, but I do think it should be much easier to become a citizen legally, and
besides how is Australia overpopulated?

You should see it here in Blacktown. Almost every 'house' is, in fact, a flat where they
can cram people in. The traffic is atrocious, and try get a park in Sydney. On the
streets, it's standing room only.

"The foreign investor program basically allows wealthy foreigners to purchase a green
card. The immigrant investor path to permanent residency, known as the EB-5, was
established in the 1990s to attract foreign investors to live permanently with their
families in the United States."

Basically to attract more rich people to the US, great.

Yeah my point exactly...what ever happened to "Give us your poor, your tired, your
huddled masses longing to be free?"

Actually America (the place where most of us talking on this discussion live) or most
other country's didn't have immigrants, the immigrants came, such as the Native Americans
were in America till the immigrants came.

In my opnion I say all the immigrants should just leave anyways.I know it sounds racist or
biased, but if your too lazy to gain your citizenship, or get your green card, you
shouldn't have the responsibility to go to another country like that. Also, with my
personal experience, all the immigrants ive met are terrible and lazy.

But once again, no bashing, that is my personal opnion and experiences, nothing against
anyone's own opnion or experiences.

Well America isn't perfect and the government is just plain stupid so why care? Fuck the
governemt! The government has always been corrupt and always will be no matter what
president we have. They could care less about our well being. Its only war they are
focused on and to me its kinda stupid.

And I think if you don't speak English you should get out of America. It pisses me off
when I'm walking in a city and all I hear behind me are some Mexicans speaking in Spanish.
I'm a very racist chick though. My History teacher is an immigrant but she has a green
card. It was expired for a couple of months so she was illegal but she finally got it

I don't think that is fair to say all illegal immigrants are lazy Racheal. I know your a
legal immigrant right, but its not so easy to gain citizenship in this country it can take
years and years and requires some serious financial backing with lawyers. Not everyone is
well off enough to afford such time and money. Though I don't believe illegal immigrants
should be granted amnesty as citizens, since they did break the law, they still should
have an easy way back into the country legally.

Also Lucy you clearly don't get the idea of a republic...this is why our country is so
corrupt because people like you just sit back and take it in the ass! We can vote, but no
one seems to use and when they do a lot of people don't educate themselves well enough.
Which is why everyone should do their part to bring to light corruption such as this!

And I don't think they should be forced to speak English they can speak in the language
they prefer with friends and family. That being said I think English should be declared
the official language of the US as a way to unify us as a people rather than keep us
divided. Focus more on teaching English in schools and keep the ballot in English.

Alright umm first of all since I'm only 15 I only have like..... the first amendment.
Thats pretty much the only right I have. Plus I take Us History and its all political.
Pretty much Abraham Lincoln was our only good president and he was assassinated. See what
happens when ya try to be good. Ya get killed and then some asshole decides to come into
power and disregard everything ya said previously before. I'm an anarchist. I absolutely
hate the government and people make such a big deal about the government but yes our
economy sucks. Who cares? We've moved on. What pisses me off is people coming to America
and then say that America sucks. What I would say to that is: GO BACK FROM WHERE YOU CAME
FROM THEN!!!!! Everyone in the Government are complete assholes. I don't think thats gonna
change. Wealthy citizens have it good while poor have it bad. Thats how its been and thats
how it always will be. Our lives are gonna be hell while the rich are bathing in their
money without a care in the world.

Damn Dynamiters!
Anarchy doesn't work!
Yeah I'm only 17 doesn't mean I'm helpless! I still have a voice and can rally with
people. Also Abraham Lincoln was not our only good president (lol you only in US History)!
What about Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Delano
Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson, George Bush, and Bill Clinton? They were
all very good presidents! And not everyone in the government is an asshole, though the
system may be broken it can still be saved, bi partisanship has divided us and back
scratching has made it corrupt and slowed the process, but there are ways to fix these
people just have to get involved more.
Also I do agree with you if someone moves here and says it sucks it makes me question why
they are here...though I find you oddly patriotic for an anarchist?
