Is it real or just a lame excuse to be "Emo". You decide.

I hate how some people say depression isn't serious at all. It's like, hello? It is pretty serious if it is the leading cause behind suicide! Not to mention, despite what many ignorant individuals say, depression is a mental illness and it takes a very long time to cure, if ever.

I also agree with you. Depression is a serious thing that people that have it, do not
want.

I mean, I know from experience. I have depression episodes. My boyfriend is clinically depressed. My best friend is clinically depressed. And there are probably more of my friends that are depressed that haven't been diagonsed yet. If a doctor is telling you that you are depressed, obviously it is serious.

It's so real. Everyone in my former orphanage went through depression.
