If you're very new to French, you might need a few phrases to help you post on the club.
Here are some common phrases you can use:

Hi: Salut [sall ooh]
I am called: Je m'appelle. [the je sounds like 'pleasure'.
Mappell.]
I am: Je suis [je SWEE]
I am ___ years old: J'ai ___ ans. [j'ay ___ ons]
I live in *city*: J'habite à __ [jabeet a]

Do you like my stupid phonetic spelling? xD

Salut! Je vais en France en June.

I'm not very good at French currently so I would like to improve. Do you have any tips or
useful phrases?

Oh, super.

Well, the only real tip to learn a language is: use it! So if you stick around, and we get
a few talkative members in here, you'll pick some up. Also: vocab is the key to all
learning.

I agree with Sanyu, I also adore it too. ^_~

I learn French on a website and.....it teaches some sentences but require you to pay so
they can continue teaching you.

I also forgot some phrases that I've learned there because I'm still learning Japanese.
Sometimes when I'm attempting to speak French, Japanese will mix with it. Lolz

I'm taking Japanese as my university major next year but howtolearnanylanguage.com (or
something xD) says you really shouldn't try to learn 2 languages at once. Reach fluency in
one before moving on to the other or else you'll be a jack of all trades languages
and a master of none.
