Spatial Oddity is the record / CD store owned by the Fletcher siblings. Thanks to
the Falls' quite large hipster community, it manages to stay open and specialises in
anything it's weird residents request.

Caroline is working the radio today, so it's Matthew's time to man the store. It's
a lazy day with only a small stream of customers and with the long absences in between
he's able to put out a few biographies and autobiographies of music artists, and some
stuff on musical theory. He reads it when he's bored, but he knows that the few students
that potter around DeWitt Falls appreciate their course material being sold cheaply.

Someone comes through the door but he doesn't look up, reading through a book of runes.
His magic is much more based on symbols and conjuring that Caroline's, based more on the
spoken word and whatever untrained chaos she could bring up. The swamps had infected her
somewhat, it was disgusting,

"Caroline, you here?" Jenny comes wandering into the bookstore hand in
purse, rifling around for something or other, a notebook tucked under the opposite elbow.
God, there was so much to do. She had to get ready for the elementary schools bake sale
(she was a chaperone), take Kralie to the doctor, take their dog into the vet... Busy
busy.

Ah, Matthew vaguely recognises the young woman that's asking around for Caroline.
Jenny-something, he doesn't really keep up-to-date with his sisters interests, her
girlfriends or...people she takes a shine to. Too much of a shine to, if you asked him,
the slim witch could have half the girls in town under her spell. Lock up your daughters.

"Caz isn't here," the red-headed male informs, glancing up between what was written on the
page and the girl. "She's working the day shift, so she won't be in until 6 at least,"

"Oh." Jen finds comfort in the fact the male hadn't immediately recognized her.
She'd become so used to being 'The Mayors Daughter' these days, and while the benefits of
that were quite nice (half-off coffee!!) - she couldn't help but feel off, like she
wasn't her own person. Or perhaps that's due to the odd air she carried with her, like a
curse. Who could know, really?

After wandering the shelves for a moment she steps over to the counter and places down a
Haxan Cloak record, dustied with age. It was their debut piece, 'Excavation', and was an
ambient drone piece she'd fallen in love with and forgotten to return. "I told her
I'd give this back to her to re-sell."

Matthew's tracing things when he hears Jenny approach, plonk something down on the
counter. Haxan Cloak, he grimaced but said nothing. Caroline's music taste, not his,
obviously. Matthew is not into rock and its possibly, immeasurable sub-genres. He much
prefers electro-pop anyways. If he's drunk, he'll tell you about his house collection, but
that's nobodies business.

"Re-Sell?" Okay then, that's weird. Unless Caroline lent this out to the young girl
standing across. He huffs. She shouldn't be doing that, it's highly unprofessional. Just
so she can get laid. Ugh. Matthew takes it anyways, slides it from it's case and checks
for any scratches or indents, anything he can charge for. But, there's nothing, so it goes
behind the counter on an empty stand. "Thanks,"

Jenny nods, then steps away from the counter to continue browsing the shop.

Her fingers dance across the worn covers of each vinyl and she takes care in each one she
removes from the metal shelves, careful to not scratch or break the el-pee's inside.
Occasionally, her mouth quirks up in a grin when she touches one, as if recalling a
memory. Once on Beirut's 'The Rip Tide', once on a Bjork single, and another time on a
double-vinyl of Clairity's 'Alienation' album. She even hums, softly, and hopefully to
herself.

She wandered if Kralie still listened to 45s. They used to dance around to mixes of old
Broadway hits, back before the town fell the economy dropped. Is that a Les
Miserables soundtrack? She flits around with capricious zeal, feeling ... normal. For
once.

Her phone vibrates, and she checks it. Then, she makes a quick exit, not bothering to say
goodbye. Hell, she's running out the door and down in street in seconds.
