She closes her eyes,
And seals her lips.
She slips on the dress,
And wiggles her hips.
Her knife at her side,
Bad feelings in hide.
A tear slides down each cheek,
Collecting at her light brown chin,
The mountain peak.
She lays down her arm,
Pushes away her fangs and good luck charm,
Her lips are still sealed,
For very well, she has nothing to say.
From down below her window, she hears a soft ringing.
Looking out her window, she sees her vampire sweetie singing.
"Sweet little mortal, I come to you at night,
Your blood smells sweet,
And your face, the lovely sight!
"Tonight have a nightmare!
When you sleep, dream and scream!
And if gets to scary,
I'll chase away the fears.
And if it gets to sweet,
I'll wipe away your tears.
"Because tonight, dream to your nightmare's desire.
Dream of ice crashing down,
Or your friends being engulfed in fire!
"Dream of being chased,
Someons shooting at your head.
But you'll wake up, unfortunately, and be laying in your bed.
"Dream of dying,
Dream of death,
Dream you'll never see me again,
And you taking your last breath.
"Dream a nightmare,
Dream quite a scare.
Dream of the big bad wolf,
And you being the harmless hare.
"Away from sweet dreams you shy,
In nightmares you find comfort and sigh,
So, for you my darling, this your nightmare lullaby."
