I'm conflicted. On one side, as long as the animals aren't being abused I don't see the problem. But on the other, there is a sort of abuse factor in taking animals away from their natural habitat.

You're right. In some shows people see animals getting abused and it entertains people without thinking how the animal would feel. People would take them away from their natural habitat but on the other side they do the same thing in a Zoo. I guess it depends on what they do after they take the animal out of their habitat.

To me,
animals are something like humans too.
If you see them in a way I do
you'll see we have a lot in common,
the most significant is

Like maternal feelings, longing &the sort.

Question: What about animal rights in general? If an animals is being abused in any sort of circumstance, and not just through entertainment industries but stuff like lab testing and such, what should be done?

I think all the people who support animal rights should group together and protest.
Try testing toxic lipstick on your own cheerleader daughter for once.

I always felt that animals definitely shouldn't be treated cruelly, but I think using
animals in certain cases is justified. Then again, that's probably since I can't really
see a reason for animals and humans to be treated equally. If I had to choose to save a
human or say...a dog, or a dolphin or something...I'd save the human. For stuff like
medical advances, I'll tolerate animal use.

For other less important stuff like make-up testing or hunting or entertainment; they

I somehow disagree.
You see, I'm passionate about animals.
I'll prefer to save the dog, because humans...they're different.
They're capable of doing destruction and won't change unless put in an institution.
But dogs, they can be tamed. Sure, bumps and bruises. Cuts too. But that's all.

Even if they found a cure for H1N1, I still will protest if they use sheep or something.

The problem is, if they make animals in sport illegal, it is not going to stop it.
Instead, it will just go underground like 'dog fighting'. What the government/who ever is
responsible needs to do, is add more rules and regulations therefore the animal will be
safer and happier.
