If you do swear, I am not meaning to offend you.

I honestly don't mind hearing swearing (but I will say it's not cool), it's their decision
if they want to swear in public, but other people might think differently, if you do, just
put it down here etc.

To be honest, I think that Kupika shouldn't put up a warning - just let people swear!

Kawaii: Yeah, that annoys me! My friend has a really bad habit of swearing, so I got used
to the warning. Once she said sex (as in male or female gender) and the warning came up!
Ashlee: They have nothing better to do, I guess. You made a good point there.

Basically, it's social taboo. They put warnings about TV programs up before it starts, so
we know they'll say f*** or whatever!

I hate those warnings. when I buy CDs, I need to hide the 'explicit' sign from my parents

In 'The Life of Brian' everyone swears all the time, but nobody gave a damn because people
thought they were talking about Jesus!

Would swearing about Jesus be considered a good or bad thing to most people?
I'm teased a lot at school for my religion. I try not to bring it up, but most people
bring it up anyway. Oops, sorry, I just brought it up xD

Not swearing about Jesus!
It's swaering in a film which is commonly perceived to be about Jesus. But isn't.

I think swearing is good, because it gets a point straight across, and it expresses
emotions and feelings; good or bad.

Ashlee, I swear. But I don't think it makes me look 'cool' >___>
I rarely swear, and I only do if I'm mad... really, really, mad.
So not EVERYONE thinks swearing makes them look cool.
Seriously kids.

I don't swearing, although I think there is a such thing as using it too much. I swear either when I'm very surprised (Oh, sh*t) or when I'm trying to get my point across very clearly (as in, like, hell no). If I know it offends someone I try not to swear in their presence (like, for example, my mother). Swearing has its place, except no one can agree exactly where that place is.

Hell isn't a swear. If your Christian, it's blasphemy.

Nah, hell isn't a swear to some Christians. Me, I don't care if someone (or me) says
'What the hell', and my family doesn't either, but some Christians are really touchy about

I has a question... what's blasphemy?

Not many people swear to look cool, but some people do (not including the people in this
discussion), they swear to get their point across, like Minaxo said, or they are just
really mad or something.
