Lowell followed. Alright. You don't have to. But I don't want you to be sad! It makes
me sad. Lowell walked over to Marrok. Oh, and Ayame, prefer a leg or a hide?
she called back. Then she stopped. Nevermind, I'll bring back both. Lowell motioned
for Marrok to follow, then ran a short distance away. Marrok, stay back and make sure
she doesn't leave, please? he nodded. Then Lowell set off to hunt.

long time.Finaly she looked away and began to walk back to where Lowell and Marrok

Lowell quivered. She knew that she could sense emotions... and now she sensed sadness.
Coming from the direction of the river. Carrying her catch, a large buck, she could hardly
smell anything. She entered the clearing and dropped it down. Marrok wagged his tail and
dug in, which made Lowell laugh quietly. She saw Ayame sleeping. Walking over, Lowell
prodded her gently, whispering in her ear, Breakfast is ready. Lowell walked over
and began to eat. Ayame was awake, but was she coming over? When she finished she walked
over and commented about this. She thought it was about the hierarchy. Ayame, you can
eat when we do, if you're hungry. You don't have to wait. With this, she walked over
to the river and quenched her thirst, then lay down to sleep again.

Lowell stood up. She knew she had to follow Ayame. Waiting a few seconds, so as not to be
too close, she set off into the forest. Ayame was about 20 feet in front of her. Staying
in the underbrush, Lowell would not be seen.

Lowell cocked her head. And sighed. Then, she decided to explain. Well I'm afraid
you'll leave. I can sense emotion, and tell the future. I saw what was going to happen to
Marrok. He was going to be torn to shreds. I knew that. But back to the point. I don't
want you to leave. It's so boring to be the only she-wolf. Sometimes, you just wish
that you had your best friend around, back from when you were a pup. How often does it
happen that a pair of wolves finds another who is willing to join their tiny pack?
Practically never happens. And I don't believe in luck. I think you were meant to be here.
Don't give me that look. Ayame looked a little tired of listening to her rambling.
Lowell looked at her, then let out her breath in a huff. Can you just tell me what
happened that you got hurt? Sooner or later I'll find out anyways, and I think it would be
better if you told me yourself. Lowell finished and hoped that Ayame would actually
tell her this time. The feelings radiating off her now were a tiny bit of anger and, most
of all, sadness.

Lowell sighed. To be honest with you, no. I'm not happy. It's never GOOD to be happy
when someone has lost a loved one. But you know, it's going to happen some time or

Lowell called after Ayame, but to no avail. Howling, she took off after her. This was not
going well. Finally, she caught glimpses of her through the trees. She was glad that she
had been taught to chase after the fastest animals. Ayame, Ayame! Come back,
please! she called despirately. She couldn't just leave her here, could she?
Ayame! she screamed. Then, her feet simply refused to move from that spot, and she
collapsed. The next time she looked up, Marrok was next to her. Lowell! he cried
out. Are you ok? Lowell gasped, then realized she was crying. What's wrong?
Lowell shuddered once then stopped altogether. Find... Ayame... she rasped.
Bring her... back... Marrok knew how despirate Lowell was, and took off, his paws
scrabbling on the forest floor.

Marrok raced up and down the river, trying to find a way across it. Alright, fine
Ayame! Now look what you've done! Lowell could die now, thanks to you! he howled in
fury, and turned back to find Lowell. When he did, he thought his heart stopped. He
couldn't see her breathing.

Lowell could see light. And that was about it. It was glowing, and there were stars
everywhere. And she felt an emotion that she hadn't felt in a long time. Peace. Then she
remembered. Ayame... Marrok... where was she? what had happened?

OOC- I gotta go to bed, will finish tomorrow... Dx
