Now I have never read any of her books (I think I might to see the reason for their
popularity), but the thing I don't understand is why she is so popular not only among
Republicans (for her laize-fairre belief), but among many intellectual people on the
internet. She was a hypocrite who preached self-reliance and yet she lived much of the
later half of her life on government welfare. She believes all actions should be taken
without moral consideration, and leaders should rule in first their own self interest.
I am a Christian, but I am also a secularist, but I still can't find anyway to agree with
She is one of those extremist writers I could never understand like Peter Singer (a
I agree. She sounds like a feminist (usually feminists take it too far.) I mean even....
Black lady.... Was wife of the president.... Michelle Obama! She teaches to not judge
others and not sweat the small stuff. However, when the gymnast Gabrielle, went to
Mcdonald's as a reward dinner for getting the gold. Michelle scolded her.
Then there's Nancy Reagen I believe. I don't think it's her but she is white and ran for
president... She taught against racism then a week later in an interview said "I believe
in White supremacy."
Well Ayn Rand isn't really a feminist she is just an extremist.
Feminism isn't always extreme.
Also Michelle Obama is kind of a huge advocate for healthy eating in children that is why
she scolded her.
And Nancy Reagan? Ronald Reagan's wife?
Never read any of her books. My mates have, though, and they say she's a dizzy bitch.
I'm personally against extremism, though. And I fail to see how "most feminists take it
too far" relative to the ancient bulk of misogyny against which they are fighting. @—@
