I have this idea for a club where everyone makes a character and gives that character a
raffle number, then each member takes a raffle number. The characters will be distributed
randomly so you may end up with a character someone else created.
I thought it would make awesome practice for people who want to be able to write more
diverse characters. For some extra fun we can have the creator of each character grade the
players based on how well they stick to the character's personality.

Ætas Lacuna Academy won't be going anywhere, but I have another club; it was a yaoi
pokemon club, but it died early July, and I decided that I'd recycle it!
What do you guys think of this idea?
 Responses would be greatly appreciated.

Well, it sure is a very interesting idea! I'd participate gladly. (: I agree, it
would help with people who wish to write and it would also be a little fun to have this
kind of challenge. Some people, though, maybe get a little persnickety when it comes to
another person playing out their creation. I suppose it's only human nature, so I suggest
you watch out for grumps. haha.

I personally love that idea. Points for oringinallity. But i'd just be really careful, because noobs- or new timers who want to practice their writting skills, make gary stues/mary sues sometimes. So make sure they have guidlines to follow- like No amnesia history and stuff like that you know? Lol I know u proubly already thought about that, but still. Otherwise great idea. You should call it "Switch Roleplay" or something :P lol

Yeah, the grumps and the Sue characters are on the list of specifics I'll need to work
out. Switch Roleplay is a great name for the club though! I'll definitely use it. What are
some other problems We might come across?

Oh that's a relief, because as I'm sure u know it only takes like two noobs to destroy a really good club! I've seen it happen.. >> And lol thanks! I'm glad you like the name, it just came To me And as for the proublems, I suppose there should be really minimum number of of lines when ppl are doing the applicatation. Like Minimum of 13 lines for the history, and personallity. Just to give the people that actually get that character enough info about them so they can be totally spot on. BUT at the same time, I think people should leave things to be interperted by others so people can still make there own descisions when playing as other people's characters, you know? I would hate for everyone to be seriously stressed out over their posts just because they didn't get the persona exactly right. I think everything a writer writes is open to Interpertation. Thus this club should be really interesting since people see things difrently then others. :D

The character forms will be alot more in depth than I usually ask. I prefer people to
roleplay out their character's history and personalities, but since most people will be
playing a character someone else made there'll need to be something for them to play off
of, at least at first.

I also want to make the club a bit more literate than this one so acceptable posts will
need to be longer. Maybe around 7 to 10 lines. On average the post length for this club is
5 lines(Which in my mind is quite the casual post), but since I want the other club the be
a good practice place we'll need a more formal length.

There is also the fact that no characters in that club will be static. Personalities flow,
and although they don't change drastically, they change depending on the situation. That
fact should keep writers free from the stress. I want to bring people away from the
characters they always write and the personalities they're used too, but I don't want to
take them so far from their comfort zone that they break under the pressure.

Really? Only two noobs? I've never seen such a thing. Most of the noobs of this club leave
quickly because I'm pretty hard on them... But it's only because I want to help them get
better. >.< I'm a bad teacher. I really don't understand how something like that could

The only way you would get to use your character is if your number is paired with your
character's number. It's be like I put all of the member's numbers into a bowl and the
character's number's into another bowl, mixed them and drew randomly. There would still be
a chance of someone getting his own character, but it'd be slim at best(unless there were
only like 4 members).

You know Requiem, I like that idea alot and I would love to join that club~ And as
for the two-noob killer theory, so true, so very, very true. I think we have covered all
of the aspects of the new club, hopefully it will be up and running soon?

As soon as I get off my slump and start developing a character form and a description...
though the description doesn't really matter right now I guess...

There isn't anything yet, but http://kupika.com/club/Neveralone
