Raine, Cadence, and Avery walked through the steel gates, heads turning at the sight of
them, though they did not notice. They never noticed things like that, being used to it
and all. The high life really got the best of them, some say, but they knew better. They
all promised to each other that they wouldn't get caught up in this life like their mother
and father had, and they were about to keep that promise.
"God, I need a smoke." Cadence pulled out a cigarette from her designer Coco Chanel bag,
lit it, and took a long drag. Both Avery and Raine gagged at the smell, departing towards
the fountain to get away from their careless sister. Raine smiled at all the boys that
stared at her, winking at a few, then sat down on the cold stone that wrapped around the
fountain. "What are we ever going to do with her, brother?" She faced him, watching as
little water trinkets attacked his perfect cheeks, melting as soon as they hit them. "I
don't know." Avery sighed, looking over at a group of girls that were practically drooling
over the sight of him. "I just, I do not know."
Cadence walked past a boy brushing his hair, liking the sight, and dropped her cigarette
right in front of him, smashing it with the toe of her heels. "Hi, I'm Cadence."
