It's the tough stuff. Mathematics, in its profound glory, coming together with algebra. Cartesian planes, linear equations, geometry, trigonometry. Depending on what level you're in, you'll learn a lot. This classroom often makes students fear the professors, for they are not afraid of the people, rather, the subject itself. This is nearly always occupied, with four professors in the course, how can it not be busy? Professors: Loren Junal - Mondays and Tuesday Mornings {|II|} Cokie Harrington - Tuesday Afternoons and Wednesdays {|IV|} Kim Lopat - Thursdays and Friday Mornings {|III|} Topaz Fall - Friday Afternoons and Saturdays {|I|}
"I believe in psychic abilities, and one day I'll conduct an experiment to prove it all to you. And then I'll work on enhancing them, so to hell with those non-believers." - Nico's Life Goal. It is a bit absurd, but he'll do anything to make it come true.

Juliet rushed into the Mathematics and Algebra classroom, her books in her arms. She was dressed in a simple yellow sundress and white sandals. She smiled at her professor. "Good morning."

Loren returned the smile. Another student. He gestured towards the chairs arranged in a semi-circle, where a few of other students were already seated. As it was the first day, he didn't really expect to teach anything serious. Just a quick review of everything they'd learned during their high school days. "All right class. Good morning, I'm Loren Junal. Call me Prof. Loren or June, whichever is to your liking." He pointed towards his hair and features. "No, I'm not one of the old, graying professors you probably had in mind. I'm just five years into teaching." He gave a grin for them again. "And I need all of your names, so please introduce yourself one by one." He pointed towards the boy five chairs away from Juliet. "You, stand up and talk."

Juliet, who sat only five seats away from the boy Professor Loren had told to talk, had a feeling she would like this class. Sure, she wasn't the greatest in math, but it was an interesting concept.

"I think we've started off a little earlier than other classes, but that's a good thing, right?" Loren said as the last student ended. "Oh, and one thing I strictly forbid is randomly changing seats every time we meet. I lose track of your name. The seat you sat on during the first day is your seat for the whole school year." He glanced at them. "Well, if you're wondering about anything about the school, it does have a myth, like all schools." He raised an eyebrow. "Unless you'd like to hear about it, we'll go straight onto our discussion review on what you learned during high school."

Juliet timidly raised her hand. "I'd like to know, sir."

"Oh alright then." Loren said good-naturedly. "It's a rather nice legend. Better than the ghosts living in bathroom stalls, thank you very much." "Well," He started. "It's about a legendary book of knowledge. It knows everything, and if had it, you'd be the most powerful being in the universe. The problem is that it chooses its reader. Other people may see it, but all they can see is inside are blank pages. You aren't allowed to write on it either. But, sometimes, if you know what to do, you can force it to reveal its secrets." He glanced at the enthralled faces. "Interesting, right? But you're all probably wondering how it's connected to Getrait. Well, they say the founder of this great university used to be one of its masters. And oddly enough, when he died, there was a strange feeling regarding it. As if it was a murder, but nothing could prove it. The book was never found, and rumor has it that it's hidden in one of the libraries. I mean, look at our libraries. The best place to hide a leaf is in a forest, right?"

Juliet, overcome by a passion to attempt to find the book, felt a burning passion inside of her. Timidly, she raised her hand. "Do you happen to know which library it would be in?"

"Oh, name please." As the young girl stated her name, Loren flipped through his student record book. Okay. All fifteen were here. "Well, Juliet, I'm afraid it's just a silly legend." He frowned a bit. "Amazing, yes. Logical, yes. Believable, no." Secretly, Loren wished he had the book too. Then everyone wouldn't have to underestimate him all the time. "Okay, continuing, let's do some simple linear equations." And off he went, starting to write on the white board.

Juliet tried her best to concentrate, but she couldn't. Unable to ignore the passion to find the book, she raised her hand again. "May I use the restroom, sir?" she asked politely.

Juliet noticed the girl who had entered just minutes before had left. Were they allowed to just leave like that? She quietly and slowly pushed her chair back.

"Fine, you can both leave." He answered blankly. "Just so you know, though, I may be a new teacher, but I am familiar with the rules enough." "If you leave without a good reason to support your actions, I will have to say that you are no longer welcome in the Algebra classroom." Loren looked at them both, an intimidating glare replacing the cool calm mask he had on before. "And yes, that includes other Algeb. teachers too as well." As he muttered irritatedly, some students winced at the formerly easy-going teacher. Learn to never mess with Sir.

Juliet stopped pushing her chair back. "But, sir, I have to use the restroom!" She quivvered, fearing his cold expression.

"Oops." Loren said sheepishly, his cheerful nature getting back to place. You'd probably think he was bipolar if these personality switches continued. "Sure, go ahead July. I'm going to list some theorems for you to prove, and that'll take a while." "Sir, her name's Juliet, not July." Pointed out another student. "Oh, sorry. Be back in ten minutes or I'm asking one of your classmates to go check on you." Loren started writing the given for the first problem on the white board.

Juliet nodded and quietly left the room. "Ten minutes doesn't give me much time," she told herself, not even knowing where the library was.
