A gorgeous lake was founded a few years ago by a young boy who had run away from home, and since then it has been a place of beauty. Clear, clean and shimmering water to drink from. Animals, mostly friendly, and many other habitats. But a while ago monsters began to take over the lake, changing it into a bloodbath for humans. Beware of Dogs.

The sparkling blue lake. Humans. It all seemed to peaceful to Malik. The only think ruining it was the dogs. Every single dog seemed to be here at this specific lake, attacking the people here at random. It was no problem for the vampire but it was quite bothersome. The smell of rich fresh blood ran around Malik like an intoxicating mist. It was hard to keep to his senses. He stepped around the lake, keeping right on the edge. One foot gliding along the water the other dry on the land. His black eyes flicked up from time to time to make sure no one was in the way of his path.

Mind if I join you~*¿

Zelo laid back against a tree after adjusting to the roughness of the bloody bark against
his back whenever he tried to relax around the strange area. Blood, dead bodies, dark
skies everywhere, it was a monstrosity to him, delirious to monsters themselves. His heart
was pounding, he had been chased down by raving dogs hungry for his skin when he found a
safe spot. But he thought of himself as lucky, for he heard from his father about the
Hellhounds from Hell. He shook his head at the thought and pulled his mask down, breathing
heavily. And suddenly, he stopped his breathing and stopped moving, the rustling and
crunching of footsteps against the ground. He slowly and cautiously looked around the
large tree he rested at, glancing around. He stood up, hands on the side of the tree and
head peeking out. Due to his vibrant hair, he would be spotted quite easily. "Hello?"
He took a step out from behind the tree, nearly gagging at the sight of squirrel guts
sprawled across a few fallen leaves and animal's eyes rolled over under a branch. He put
his hands into his pockets and closed his eyes to take a deep breath, opening them again
and listening out for whatever he had sensed around him. Maybe I'm just crazy..

ooc: No I don't mind~ Bic: He wasn't frightened by the small voice that suddenly spoke up. Maybe a bit...shocked. Rarely anyone would come around this part of the lake. Dead animals and people's remains layed here, littering the ground with their decaying bodies making a horrible stench raft through the air. Which now that he had put more focus into, smelt utterly terrible. What had he been thinking when coming here again? Sighing deeply, wanting to get rid of the smell rather than annoyance, Malik stopped and turned back to where the voice had come from. Even without his excellent night vision he would have been able to easily spot the male that stood there. "What makes you come here so late in the day?" His strong rich british accent was clearly there when he spoke. "With nothing in sight to protect yourself it is quite dangerous."

Something crawled up his back to his neck making him run pale, finger like structures
holding his arm making him feel completely trapped. Moreover, it was all his imagination
coming from the fact he was spooked out by a pair of light and dark eyes staring back at
him. He gulped, fearing that this dark figure in the midst of day could become his worst
enemy. Zelo stared back dumbfounded, shock running through his mind before he licked his
dry lips and managed to shyly smile as he listened to the rich accent. He ignored the
nasty stink around him, an odor that would haunt his dreams later on, and focused on the
male who had caught him. Who else is here? He shook his questions and managed to
speak up, stuttering at first, "I- I can protect myself," he retorted. "What about you?"
He looked him up and down before averting gaze, trying to hold up a superior attitude.
Instead, inside he was brutally screaming and confused, clawing out his insides.

ooc: You're so good at roleplaying ;o; Bic: The boy's stutter only amused him more than the question he had asked. He didn't believe that kid could defend himself...Just everything about him didn't seem that way.The boy was obviously scared out of his mind; that was weakness. Smirking, and taking short and confident steps to the boy, Malik looked at him eyebrows raised. "Oh I can defend myself," he laughed. "I'm more worried about a small boy like you running around these parts. Wouldn't want you to scratch your knee." He was having so much fun with this, his mocking smile and just the glint in his eyes showed every bit of amusement. Just as if the kid was like some new toy that would be tossed around by an infant. Or a cat and a mouse.

I do a lot of role-playing para on Tumblr, it also helps to observe others
too ;A;

Confidence.. Strategy.. b-but wait, what is he- Zelo gulped again, only this time
he was fully looking back to the boy in front of him, only he was trying to keep up a
structured, confident appearance. It crumbled immediately as soon as the tall light and
handsome boy stepped forward making him lose his breath, hitching his breathing. He
couldn't help but gasp and close his mouth tightly afterwards, the hands in his pant
pockets curling up softly in most anger. There was something intimidating, menacing in the
other's eyes that made him uncomfortable, so he moved in his spot and swallowed hard. "I'm
not small, you're just freakishly tall. A-nd a scratch of a knee won't stop me, so don't
think I'm not strong enough to take you out." Zelo's cheeks puffed out before he took a
breath. Which was a mistake because when he did, the smell of rotten blood filled his nose
and made him nauseous.

He finally stopped his steps, now literally only one more step away from the boy. He still continued the tough guy act. Obviouslu an act. Malik ran a hand through his hair ruffling it slightly. Since he was taller than the kid he had to look down on him. "Take me out," he repeated, he just couldn't take the boy seriously anymore. "I don't even know why you're so intent on looking strong. Either way you will not be able to take me out." Suddenly the whole entertainment thing vanished from his mind. He wasn't trying to scare him anymore; there wasn't anything fun about a boy who was actually easy to scare. The smirk on his lips soon tilted into a soft smile as he held out his hand in greeting. "But if you want to try to take me out, you can very much as well try. Just don't get angry at me if you end up broken." He chuckled and finally got to the greeting part of it. "I am Malik and you are?"

He stopped..? Zelo hid his sigh of relief, mentally clawing at his
eyes to stop himself from showing the defeat in his voice. His eyes lowered a bit and he
did sigh this time, not out of relief, but something else. He didn't understand why the
boy looked down on him so much, it pretty much irritated him to no extent. He growled
coldly under his breath before he shook off the voice in his head from his father, Play
nice, you're still working on your powers. Zelo of course ignored his father and his
lips curled up into a wide grin, baring his white teeth at Malik. "You believe in yourself
too much, don't be mad when you suddenly end up broken." His smile fell in a sarcastic
manner, staring down at his hand before gently placing his soft hand on Malik's. "Zelo."

Pulling back his hand a little to quickly Malik rolled his eyes. "I was only being nice." He scoffed. And he was. To every extent he WAS being nice. Well at least HE thought he was being nuce. Better to tell the boy now that he would be broken if he started to fight with him rather than later. It would be less of a mess. "Anyways~" Malik sighed, looking around for a long period of time letting silence hang in the air, before turning back to Zelo... Zelo. What an odd and unusal name. "So.Zelo," purposely sounding the name out slowly. "As I said, what brings you here?"

Nice?! Since when has he? Zelo grumbled under his breath and sighed
again as Malik pulled his hand quickly away from him, making Zelo look up at him with a
strange look. Maybe he's- no, then he wouldn't be here.. He pulled his own hand to
his side in response, quietly looking down to his frequent shifting feet around the blood
stained ground. "A walk." He stammered at the beginning, shaking his head and rubbing his
neck. Not like I was lost or anything.
Zelo went over Malik's name, trying to figure out if he was really pronouncing it correct,
or maybe he just wasn't used to American names. He left the thought alone and studied
Malik again, thinking and biting his lip. "I'm guessing you were visiting this area too?"

Malik only shrugged and a smug smirk appeared on his face. "Only on a walk," he replied, using the same excuse as the other. Which was far more than a lie. A walk around here? Why would anyone want to do that. But apparent the boy had wanted to... Malik crossed his arms over his chest, getting quite bored now, seeing as all the kid was doing was moving around a lot as if impatient over something. Or afraid. "Would you mind telling me why you are taking a walk out here? It isn't somewhere where people usually take walks. Hunters, killer, psychopaths...Those kind of people are more likely to come here."

Lies, the only way to get out of things. Even if all of his life he was
honest, there wasn't much choice. "Well, I was walking. Went off the wrong trail, that's
all. Why, are you concerned for me all of a sudden, how sweet of you. But as I said, I can
take care of myself, half of my friends as psychopaths. Plus, I'm sure you would of
handled them already since you're here." Zelo looked away with his arms across his chest
and hugging his shoulders as he was cold, the wind was picking up and he hadn't been ready
to be in the weather. He got lost, thinking he would be home before the sun left. He
stared at the ground and sighed, "It seems I'm not wanted here, so I'll probably take my
leave. Didn't mean to ruin your walk." Zelo felt his lips droop as he pulled his
mask up to stop the rotten smell from making his stomach hurt and nose bleed, hugging his
bare arms and looking around. Who knew, maybe he would get home.

Slightly shocked by the kid's attitude, Malik only raised his eyebrows. 'Went off the wrong trail...' So the boy was lost. Couldn't he have just said that, would have been a lot easier for him anyways. "So, Zelo, would you happen to need any help finding you're way back? Seeing as you are lost. I do know my way around these parts well. I wouldn't mind showing you around," he shrugged as if it didn't matter either way to him. Looking up at the sky, that was beginning to darken quicker than usual, Malik looked up at the stars. "It's a shame this night be spoiled with the scent of rotten flesh.." he mumbled to himself, not realizing that what he was thinking, was said out loud.

What's the worse that can happen? Zelo rolled his eyes, biting down
on his index finger skin and pondering his two decisions. Either way, there were pros and
cons. He just, had trouble trusting others, even sometimes he took things too lightly. He
looked over his shoulder to examine Malik, still thinking it over. A breeze hit him and he
shivered, looking up to the stars and letting out a sigh. He quietly turned to Malik and
bowed his head, "Please, show me the way."
