Ryota is jumping roof to roof Making sure there was no zombies near his safe camp. He is scouting for food. He dropped behind a grocery store. There is very little in store. "Damn! Its all expired or moldy." He looked around the store and grabs a canned food. "At least its not expired."

Patrick Cross never went by Patrick anymore. At least, not after everyone he loved died. He was living in a relatively cleared apartment for a few months now - The doors were boarded up and a retractable fire escape the only way in or out. There was a set of stairs to the roof, where he rationed his seeds and started planting a garden. Right now, he was tending it. They said the virus wasn't airborne, but he still had the bloodstained bandana over his face (keeps out the smell of death), his thick glasses helping him see for at least a little while. At least he had okay vision far away. He looked up at the desolate city, and saw a figure parkouring toward him.

Ryota listened to the sounds around him. He can hear the sound of someone screaming. He did not go to there aid. He stood up straight. "Shit, shes leading them to me." He ran out the back and ran up the wall. Looking back he can see the woman getting eaten. Ryo can't bare to watch, so he just ran.

A yellow shirt was taken off and waved in the air. "Over here!" He yelled. "Safe Haven!" He made sure the Risen had to go through...nine or ten barriers and a retractable set of stairs in order to get to his abode. Sollux Cross was skeletal, you could almost see his bones. But that was how he always was.

Ryota smirked and jumped the opposite way. He wanted nothing to do with another being. It wasn't for him. He made his way to a Bomb shed hidden by dead plants. It was located just behind a building, it was used for emergency. He sat on a bed near the wall and opened the can of food. "Another day another dollar." He picked up a small silver spoon and stuck it into the can. It was filled with stew. "Here's to you," he said while holding up the can.

He sighed, and put his shirt back on. Night time was the worst time for Risen activity, and it was dusk. He put his filthy shirt on, examining the scrapes and cuts on his arms and legs. Terrible. He kept to tending his crops for a while.

Ryota stood up and picked up his rifle. "I'm thirsty." He said to himself while walking out. "Night is when the crazys come out." He laughed to himself. He climbed to the roof. He looked around and saw zombies. "Water, water, water." He said while looking around. He continued to the other roof and saw a bar. He ran to the bar making sure he wasn't being followed by zombies. He ran in and closed the door behind him. The smell of dead ran threw his nose. As he looked up he saw a big zombie. "I've seen fatter." He laughed as he charged at the zombie.

All of a sudden, he heard a commotion at the bar. A four letter word crossed his lips, as the bar was next door. He took his crowbar out of its hiding place - wrought iron, heavy but packs a nice punch - and stepped over to the next building. A flight of zombie-free stairs later, and he was face to face with a crazy with a gun, and a Risen right by him. That word came again.

Ryota was having a hard time with the big zombie. But he finally ended its life once more. He threw empty bottles on the ground. "Oh whatdo we have her." He picked up a bottle of whiskey that hadn't been touched. "Man, am i going to have fun tonight." He said while laughing. He walked out the front door looking around.

"Thankth, dude." He spat, beating another Risen to the ground before going back to his home. Then, he saw the fire escape was still down. "Thit." He lisped, because I decided I'm typing out how he talks. He climbed up, pulled it up, and then bashed three more heads in. Luckily, it was only them.

Ryota smirked and walked away. He climbed to the top of a building and ran back to the bomb shelter. He walked in and closed the door. Locking it he went and sat down on the bed. He opened the whiskey and took a sip of it. "Yum. Haven't had that in 3 years. Delicious." He sat the whiskey down on a table.

He used greywater to water his plants, so he'd use the acidic kind to clean his crowbar. It had rained acid for the first week or so after the outbreak, and he had rain barrels ready. It was great for disinfecting the crowbar full of zombie goo, and effective at clearing whatever he had in the shit pail, so he kept it. He rolled out his pack and slept under the stars for the first clear night in a while.

Ryota coughed and opened the door out of the bomb shelter. He climbed the building in front and layed down looking at the starts. "Damn, What has this world come too. Well it tops a shitty word it was before." He sighed and sat up. He looked around the building to see if there where any Zombies. He sets up his rife and starts picking them off with his silencer.

Ami's stomach growled as she walked abandoned streets of the burnt out city. By this time, the meats, vegetables, and dairy products were all expired and the only other solution was canned or high fructose corn syrup foods. At the beginning it was a dream, eating Twizzlers and canned artichoke hearts but over time she just left like a home cooked meal. Fixing the loose m60 machine gun on her shoulder, he made her way down the lonely streets. It's been over four months since she's seen a human being not infected by the virus and it would be a surprise if she did. After spending almost a hour just wondering the streets, she finally saw a grocery store with blacked out neon letters. Just gitty with excitement, she dash threw the doors and made her way down the isles. She kept her ears open, and eyes widen just in case they were near. Opening her bag, she stuffed it with different selections of canned foods and lukewarm juice boxes. Ripping open the plastic covering, she took out a small meal for herself. Sitting right there in the store, she looked at the can with a frown. I don't even have a can opener, but there must be on in here somewhere. Getting up, she picked up her m60 and walked down the isle closest to her. A noise struck her ears, a slight moan, grunting and soon to fall after, the smell of rotting flesh. She froze, and ducked down to see a few of them coming into the store. Turning around, she grabbed her bag and slipped it on her other shoulder, then looked over her shoulder to see if any of them notices her move. They didn't but their noses were sniffing like bloodhounds, knowing she was in there. She laid low, scooter her body near the corner of the store and looked for a place to hide. There was enough room for her to slip into a small cabinet, and give her time to think of her next move. Once she was in, the only defense she had was her ears. Listening to the creeks the zombies would make. She kept still and opened the cabinet's sliding door just a bit to see what was going on. They were sniffing the stop she was just at, giving her a chance to run the opposite way and out the front. Knowing that was her plan, she was ready to dash until she noticed something. A can opener hung unopened, only four feet away from the starving pack. She had a choice to make, grab it and have a chance to get caught or just run. Ami was desperate, and made her her decision right then and there. Hoping out of the cabinet, she ran to the opener and tried pulling it off the hook. It got stuck on the stupid hanger, and made the most reaching noise of plastic against metal. They looked, she froze, they pounced. One grabbed a hold of her foot, attempting to bite her ankle causing her to fall to the ground. She panicked and ripped the can opener off the hook and hit it against their head, squirming out of it's grasp in time to not get bite. Her gun was to far ranged to use so she got up before the rest had any way with her. They pounced, she ran, and made it out of the store. That wasn't the end of it, they followed close behind her signalling to other zombies she was near. OOC: I will go back and correct anything grammar wrong.. I just wanted to get my first post in
