Soemthing that bothers me is that quite a few people have a bad word in their username,
or display name.
Like, someone had a username called B****y B****, and for lack of remembering the others,
i have no more excamples.
I know that i can never stop other people swearing, and that people will still swear no
matter what i do in the site, but could you at least make it so displayname/usernames cant
have bad words in them? For the few people like me that hate swearing so much they cant
stand it?

..Oh, yeah! :D

Ya, unless they have a good reason or being expresive about something, they're just one of
those people that swear for nothin, so just ignore them.
If they are what their username is, just blacklist if you don't like them. -_-

I would direct you to Tim Minchin's Censorship video, but I cba looking it up.
Basically, it's about how asterisks don't really do anything.
Pointless comment is pointless.

ps) shit and bollocks, nobody in the real world is going to change how they speak for you
so here is the perfect training ground for learning to tolerate swear words, wank and
crap.

Even if swear words are blocked or w/e, people still over come the rules. For example:
sh1t or sh!t still holds the same meaning, for the intention is still there ffs.

I swear I've ranted about this issue already. :/

Oh, and Lyncheh is made of win.

North Korea. FOR SURE. Seriously though, in what way is the word shit, for example, more shocking or nasty than saying you want to kill something? Sure, mommy and daddy tell you shit is a nasty word, but the meaning of shit (poop, or something of low quality) is less extreme than the meaning of killing something (murder, taking a life). So it can't be the meaning you object to. So what is it, exactly?

I agree with Lyncheh. The word "killing" is much more... well bad? Haha.

If you don't like swear words, well good for you, but others do not mind them. I'd say
majority of people don't. Now... I can't stand when people swear every two words, but one
bad word won't kill you.
I think you'll see them anywhere you go. Just try and ignore them. Part of life, right?
Ignoring things we don't appreciate / like, and enjoy the things we do. ;P

i kinda agree with goddessofanime. I do personally think swearwords shouldn't be in
usernames or at least not show up. But i also agree with childhood about freedom.
