Effy stalked sullenly along the hallway. She had woken up in a bad mood, and wanted to
find someone to chill with. She paused in front of a random door and knocked thrice,
waiting patiently for an answer.

Amy had walked to her dorm room and immediately began redecorating it to her liking. The style of the room was changed to be mostly shown in snow-white, accented with a spring blue and valentine pink. It was extremely bright and resembled a barbie-doll house in many ways. Amy was content with it. Just as she was sorting through different outfits to wear, she heard someone knock three times at her door. She turned and walked over to it. "Hello?" she anwsered preppily, as she swung the door open and looked at a blue-haired girl that was obviously some type of fox. Her mint-green gaze focused on the small fox ears with confusion and then back to the other girls' face. She noticed whoever she was, she looked angery.

Effy realized she was looking grumpy and immediately put a more happy look on her face. "Hi! I'm Effy. Don't get scared by the fox ears. They're just... birthmarks." Effy reached up to stroke them. "So, welcome to this school! I think it's called something like, 'Aeron's Academy for Criminal Youth'. Kicking, right?" Effy said her own made up word, forgetting that the other may not know what she meant. "Oops. I mean, awesome. So where are you from?" She glanced behind her into the room, seeing that it was stylishly decorated, unlike Effy's own, which was a complete mess. Even though the there was no way for Amy to know about the state of her living quarters, Effy found herself blushing slightly.

Amy gave a smile. " Heya Effy, I'm Amy." "And no, I wasn't scared of your fox ears." "At first I thought it was weird to have ears on top of your head, but they're actually adorable!" "I wish I had some." She admitted with a small soft sigh. Amy leaned against her porcelain white doors' frame and brushed her fingertips over her own head, moving back the dark waves. "Don't you think, they'd be cute on me?" "I'd love to have some righttttt here." she pointed out to the other girl and laughed a bit. She felt silly admiting that. "Anyways, thanks for the welcome." "It's nice to actually meet someone around this place." "I hate being a nobody." "By the way, I'm from Queens, New York." Amy told the fox-girl as she then proudly placed her manicured hands on her hips. It was hard to hear her New Yorker accent through her preppy voice but it was definately there. She noticed Effy peek passed her and stare at the decorations around her dorm, just before blushing. It made her chuckle a little. "What is it?" she asked and cocked her head to the side a bit.

Effy smiled and nodded. "They would absolutely smashing on you." She laughed. "Well, I'm pretty new too, so maybe we can show each other around." She giggled some more as she heard the rather odd accent. "I like your accent. It's neat. I've never been out of England before. " Then, in response to her last question, she blushed some more. "Haha, it's just that your room is so pretty, and my room has an insane elf sleeping in it." She laughed more, thinking of Phoenyx, sleeping on the pillow. She was now in a very giggly mood. "That is, if she hasn't woken up and destroyed the place." She calmed herself down with a few breaths. "May I come in?"

Amy laughed a bit and raised a dark eyebrow. smashing? she had never heard anyone say that until now. Then once she mentioned she was from England, it made sense. "Thanks girl, I do my best." Amy replied with a proud smile as she was complimented on her room decorating. Afterall, Amy had a reputation for always being stylish. She planned on keeping it. Though she was a little curious about what the insane elf in her room was about. She decided to ask her later. "Sure, you can come it if you want." She said and opened the door for Effy. Then Amy walked into the kicthen. "My grannie in New York always made hot coco with chocolate chip marshalmellow cookies." "It's delishious!" "want some?" she asked as poured a cup for herself. She didn't want to come off as rude, though she did have her moments..

"Sure. Sounds delicious." Effy looked around the room. The chairs and couches were so immaculate they looked as if they were only decorations, not for sitting on. So she sat on the floor. Effy around in slight wonder at how Amy managed to keep it like this. Perhaps her bad housecleaning habits were remanents of the orphanage, when she was wildly messy just because she could be. She took the mug of liquid Amy handed her and took a sip. "Oh, my! That is wonderful!" She dipped her cookie in and took a bite, chewing slowly so as to get every ounce of flavor out of it.

Amy gave a clam smile after Effy tasted the hot chocolate and enjoyed it. "mhm." she agreed as she took a seat in her pink couch-chair and took a long sip, herself. The steaming chocolately liquid went down easy and melted away all her worries. All she could focus on was the inner warmth it brought. She closed her eyes in that moment. It reminded her of when she stayed with her grandparents. It was mostly good memories. Amy remembered the day she first had her granmothers' hot chocolate. It was seven years ago in Queens New York; The pale evening sky is thick with cold air and long blankets of winter snow layer over the frozen streets of New York. A very young Amy Eleburge was wearing her favorite brown fur coat with some brown snow boots. She had been out in the snow playing in a snow-ball fight with some friends and as the sun began to set, she heard a familair sound of a sweet middle-aged woman with her mothers' green eyes calling her name. " Amy." At the sound of her voice, Amy took off into a happy sprint, running through the slushy streets. She stopped at the apartment building her grandmother was standing in front of. The older woman smiled after seeing Amys' cold rosey cheeks. "I made something speacial for you." "Now,you go get warm, so I can show you." her grandmother chimed. With a small nod, Amy zoomed passed her granny and went upstairs for a few minutes. She came back down in a stylish green sweater and some candy cane patterned red sweat pants. She walked into the kicthen and her green eyes grew wide with awe as she landed her gaze on a silver tray stacked high with chocolate chip marshmellow cookies. Her mouth watered a little. " There she is." Her grandpa smiled and pointed out to her grandmother. Her grandmother was carrying a tray of steaming china. She walked over to Amy and handed her a cup of hot coco. "Have as many cookies as you like, dear." he grandmother told her. And she did. Amy remembered that was one of the best days ever. She loved being spoiled. After the memory ended, Amy lifted her eyelids after a moment witand released another small sigh from her lips. Her ivy eyes stared at Effy with a perplexity. 'Why are you sitting on the floor?' is what she wanted to ask. However, since Effy was obviously mixed with some kind of animal, she figured it was a weird habbit. " So what classes do you have here?" Amy inquired curiously as she took a cookie and dipped it into her hot chocolate as well. She lifted the cookie back to her lips and nibbled on it, still sitting back in the pink chair.

In answer to Amy's question, Effy pulled out her schedule. "I'm not actually sure. It says here I have 'Armed Robbery' right about now. I suppose I should be in class, but I had a rather distressing episode with a blue-haired pirate and the same insane elf I mentioned earlier." She left it at that, letting the smell of chocolatey goodness flow into her sensitive nose. She had never had this stuff before, having grown up in her orphanage. The governess was very strict and allowed no possible staining foods into the building. So bow Effy was enjoying her cocoa at full force. Soon her cup was just about empty. She downed the last bit and sat quietly, waiting for any to speak again. She was rather curious as to how this stylish, preppy giro could be a criminal, but she supposed that could also be wondered about herself. She smiled to herself as she imagined Effy Heart from another point of view.

Amy looked a bit and stared with a raised eyebrow when Effy told her she had a class in armed robbery. What's the point of coming here to become criminals...agh, I'm confused. She thought as she placed her hand on her forhead, causing some of her long dark bangs to flow through the openings of her fingers. She was still trying to figure out why she had to come here. Amy was sure her grandparents had some type of reason. She dropped her hands to her side and sighed a bit, before picking her cup of hot coco back up. ohwell. she thought. She sipped the hot chocolate drink again and then noticed Effy had finished. She sat her cup down again. Then she stood from her pink chair and retrieved the glass, before walknig into the kicthen. "Want any more?" Amy decided to ask before she placed the china in the washer.

Effy looked down at her cup. "No thanks. I don't wanna seem greedy." Effy laughed a bit. She got up and went into the kitchen where Amy was putting the dishes away. "Need any help?" She offered, gazing around the room. "I love the colours." she remarked on the walls of the room.

"Nah, it's fine." Amy remarked back with a small shrug, after Effy offered to help her. She wipped her hands on a snow-white towel and then turned around, a bit surprised to see that she was standing in the kicthen as well. "I love the colours." After hearing the compliment, Amy gave a flattered smile. "Thanks." "I just used my favorite color, pink, and added the beautiful blue color of the summer sky." She gave a soft sigh of content. For some reason, those colors always brightened her mood. Amy then walked out of the kicthen and went back into her mini couch-room. She sat with her legs crossed and resumed sipping her hot chocolate from the china cup.

followed her back into the sitting room and sat tentatively on a chair across from Amy. "Whats it like in New York? It sounds wonderful." She snuggled into the chair, hoping for a tale of beautiful sky scrapers and huge cinemas. Effy could only imagine what it would be like, with busy streets and big faces all around. She would be starstruck, only having known the dingy old billage on the out skirts of London.

"Well..." Amy looked thoughtful as her question lingered in her head. She wasn't really sure how to describe it to her. "First off, there's alot more people." "It's the bussiest place ever but it's also the best place to have fun." "I loved living there so much." "There was always places to go and things to do...." her voiced trailed a little a memory of the awful beauty pagent flashed through her mind. She gave a small sigh and placed her empty china cup down her the table. Then she pulled her feet up onto the couch-chair and absently twirled a long lock of her dark bangs. "It's nothing like this place." she added with a rather disappointed tone. "So where did you come from?" Amy asked, curiously. She half-expected the fox-girl to say she was from Narnia. Yes. She ment the magical land that exisits in large wardrobes. Her mint-green gaze was bright with amusement at her own muse as she quietly awaitted a reply.
