This is my heart.
     My soul.

One day hot.
  The next day cold.

This is the land where I can be free.
This is the land that gave birth to me.

This is the land where the drum beats,
 Children dancing in the streets.

This the land where days are hot,
  And nights are not.

This is coming from the bottom of my soul.
Where my happiness takes its toll.

This where I get my grooves.
Drums beating to all my moves.

Hips swaying,
  Children playing.

Arms swinging,
  Young and old singing.

People talking,
  Teens walking.

Fire burning,
  Bodies churning.

Dance, move, shake to the beat.
  Dance little children.
  Dance to the beat.

This is the land of the Africans free,
I love this land that gave birth to me.

Cool. I didn't actually try for that. I wrote this one in Algebra when I was supposed to
be doing my 'homework'.
