Ok this isn't what i would consider to be a true contest because actually there is a
submission fee ($55 for the regular deadline of April 15, 2010) so while it is possible
you could win and get all the benefits and prizes offered what you are really paying for
is for your script to be read by some pros and possibly, possibly something could come of
it. Still it might be worth it. Although you retain your rights of course, and by U.S. law
(for U.S. people at least) your copyrights are created when you fix your work in some
tangible form (like writing it down, printing it), it is a good idea to register your
works with the U.S. copyright office, the WGA and even mail a sealed copy to yourself
through the U.S. post. (I will make a Copyrights 101 thread for the club soon).
