Well, tada! It's not much. I could use some steps and help on how to shade and color
better but I think my lineart is eons better than with mouse:

where's the hand on the first person? or did you purposefully not draw it?
I like how you didn't draw the face on the second one, it gives it a good effect. sorry i
can't really give you many tips, i'm horrible in that department; i don't know much about
shading to begin with

She wrapped her fingers around her other arm and the sleeve is a little long for her.

Wow! I just realized they're both listening to music. XD

Wow! I definitely see an improvement on how you draw! :D The first picture is much more
loose than the second, perhaps the change of tools? I like it. =) You're going off towards
the right direction. With a little bit of more drawing with the tablet and once you get
comfortable with it, I'm sure you art would be beautiful. =D

As for tips I suggest you just play around and get a feel with things. Since you have a
tablet now, you can afford to slap colors on and erase them if you find that they don't
fit. xD Experimenting is all about it. =D You did a great job with color variation.

One more tip: you shouldn't use burn and dodge as an easy way out to shading.
It's too hard to control what you burn/dodge, and it's hard to make it look natural and
clean, so I suggest you stick with darker colors to shade. =)

Awesome work.

Thanks. That comment means a LOT. Seriously. I'm glad! I'll be taking an Art class
this semester and I'll probably be drawing a lot more since I have an easier way of
drawing. ^ ^ Just a side note: I'm a big fan of your art. <3
It takes me hours to get the lineart right. Is that normal? Coloring is getting easier. I
have to be more careful cos I don't wanna scratch my precious [cheapcheapcheap] tablet.
Already it has chocolate on it. Darnit. Okay, getting sidetracked.
Ah. I see you noticed. That obvious? >_< Yikes. I'll need to work on that. I did try to
soften it up to make it blendy but I FAILED. Question: To make it darker, on the color
window/palette, should I move the color selector circle up or to the left?
But thank you thank you so much. This made my day. C=

XD Lol, I see... =) Ooh? An art class? That's great! =D I'm taking a drawing class this
semester too... so far the teacher isn't really teaching much...D: But yeah. Although art
classes might not be relevant to drawing animanga, it helps with color, proportions, and
other things. XD
I'm glad you're able to draw easier. xD

Several hours? That's cool. =o It's hard to get things the way it is, an practice makes
perfect. I remember spending eight hours on completing a single picture. And of course
once I wasted three hours drawing on a small 300x 300.

Well it is quite noticeable with the burn and dodge. xD When you use it, the colors become
too bright and too dark to be the shade of it. For the darker shades, it is up to your
preference. =) It could be duller and darker, or just dark. Experiment and see which one
comes up the best. XD
